I have my own personal slave for the day! :D

You cruel mother :rotfl: DD and I have just returned from our fabulous break to Venice. Good food, fabulous weather, wonderful art, and great company ;) She has a further 10 weeks off until she starts college, so we've agreed that she'll do some chores every day for me :j:j:j That's if she can fit it into her busy social schedule  :rotfl:

Off to choir soon, then an early night as I really need to catch up on sleep :o

Need to see what Haribo was doing .......... just found it. Can I suggest that in future you keep spaghetti for bolognaise and make your clothing straps from fabric (or thick knicker elastic ;) )

See you all later, Penny. x

Dinner was very quick, lots of salad with tuna and wholemeal bread, and a slice of raspberry sponge for pud ;)

After walking around Brum for most of the day my feet are shouting at me to sit down, OH has gone to his club for a game of snooker so I am going to watch TV, sew some things up then get on with DGS's Thomas the Tank Engine jumper, just the best bit to do now the front, with the pattern on.

Enjoy the rest of your evening all

    Evening all,

Hugs to those in need, I read the thread and everyone I wanted to mention has fallen into that "black hole".... I'll blame the glass of wine I had with tea.

DH booked a surprise day off to spend my birthday with me, he'd planned a picnic and took me fruit picking for the morning......was lovely....got a bit carried away though and came back with 4 kilos of strawberries, just over a kilo of raspberries and 3 kilos of cherries.....was a bit of a "gulp" moment when they were weighed...but they'll all get used/brewed/munched so won't go to waste.

The most OS I got was making some turkey burgers for tea, I opted out of any furhter cooking and sent DD to the chippy for chips to go with.....had some HM colslaw too....followed by yet more strawberries and raspberries - yum.

Will spend tomorrow catching up on all the stuff I didn't get done today..but it was worth it. :j

just want to send ((hugs)) to Tired Mum. My son was a horror in his primary school for his temper and I used to tear my hair out about him. It got better as he got older but he just didn't knuckle down at school and we went through a worrying time with him. I know this doesn't help you in any way but I can really sympathise with what you are going through with your DS at the mo. xxxx
