Everytime we've argued one of the things he brings up is that i drive his cars, and if we split up i would be car-less... which is why i bought the car into my name when i had left over PPI money earlier in the month.
I must get on that right away....
I wondered why you were doing that:p;)Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Luc, I've recently been through the weaning thing. At first I used a teaspoon of baby rice mixed with baby milk, after a week or so I started doing half a reduced sugar rusk mixed with milk. Then we moved on to ice cube trays of stuff like carrot with potato or chicken with carrot and potato. I make up batches now of stuff, I do cook seperate pots of food for Lily because I'm worried about the salt in gravy mixes and stuff, I tend to get the baby gravys which are in the baby food aisle. I warn you, one potato, a bit of carrot and chicken blends down to a huge amount. I use some pots I got from Amazon to store the food in the freezer just because ice cubes are too small for gusto lily. I buy puddings though, I like the ones which are just fruit with nothing else added. For quick meals I use the Ellas kitchen ones, these are fab, lily loves them but won't entertain the jar foods at all.:A

caught up...........Maz, I feel you may have made the decision about what you want. You are very clear in what you say about a new life, a new independence, you are already talking about financial planning, having a car etc. when I was with my ex, it took about 3 years to make the decision to split - and there were a couple of times I should walked before I did. One day though, something just kind of 'clicked' and all the thoughts of how I would cope, feel etc just disappeared and I had no fears of saying we shouldn't be together.
I'm glad we did because we are now friends and the relationship we now have could never have been replicated if we were a couple - we get on really well now and we are much more open about stuff we were never able to talk about when together (ie money mostly!!)"Stay Wonky":D

Some of the jars and pouches are not bad really, I had a policy of not giving anything that tasted foul to me! That said I would avoid wheat and certain fruits (strawberries, kiwi) until 6 months oh and eggs - though it depends on any allergies in the family, luckily OH and I have none which made it simpler. No honey for a year but I'm sure you know that
I waited till Elliot was 6 months so he could mostly have what we had to take some of the stress out, mind you he is on a dinner-strike at the moment so the stress never ends anyway
Just bear in mind that he's still young and might not be that interested yet - though he might be of course but it takes a while for them to get used to it, Elliot didn't eat much before about 9 months when he'd reliably eat half a bit of toast or half a banana!
Oh and the fruit puree pouches - I still give them to DS now, they're great for travelling as you can just chuck a couple in your bag and you have an instant tantrum-stopper
Well... sometimes...0 -
BB - the one you have suggested for me is a woman.0
