Luc I think if you use the icecube trick as Sally said you can batch cook a normal portion then save them as 12+ little meals. Then when it comes to feeding time you can just take out 1/2 food 'ice' cubes out of the freezer and thus you will have minamum waste. Obviously you will have to buy a few ice cube trays or maybe you can batch cook one set and once they have harded in the freezer you can turn them out and store them in some tupperware.

Obviously I dont have wee ones so I have no idea :rotfl:

Yes, we do need to talk, you're right....

3 years? Gawd, snags would have chewed her arm off by then!

I'm gonna get myself a younger model this time anyway, so he might have a suitable father! (assuming you fancy an older man yourself!)

yep, Pap you got it in one.....

Baby rice is good cause you only need to take out a tablespoons worth, add water and there's not a lot of waste, rather than make a bowlful like the instructions say. But then Erin ate for scotland so a bowlful was soon required!!!

quarter of a rusk is good too, again minimal waste really....

alongside all the healthy things you're talking about, a couple of those kinda staples would be worth having.......
