Can't see why not ...at the end of the day they would charge this amount if you went over an authorised O/D.

Thanks, wasnt sure if we could because it doesnt have an OD on the account. 35 pounds is an a silly amount when sometimes the account has only been short of a few pence.

Now I have to read up on how to go about it, banking has never been my stong point :o

I've just written subject data access requests to Halifax. Barclays and Capital one. I worked out there must be at least £3k between them in charges in the last six years. wish me luck.

I sent my letters nearly 2 weeks ago now (stating what they owed me, etc). Have heard nowt from Nationwide, and got a letter from Abbey this week saying thanks for your letter, it'll take us 4 weeks to respond. So what do i do now? Do i wait for Abbey to respond? Or do i write again and say no good, or do i file a claim? Also what should i do about Nationwide? Wait a bit longer?
    Confused, and worried now.....
