Setanta/Virgin TV

Of course Setanta wasn't 'free' Are some people just plain stupid? Setanta wasn't providing it's services to VM for free, and VM wasn't giving them to the customers for free. It was loaded into the package price - whether it used to be there or not. They were selling the XL package on the basis it came with it. It's a bit like the "freebies" that used to be in all the cereals. You couldn't have it without buying the cereal. Some people are so naive.
So why did Virgin Media say it was "free"?
So that they didn't have to compensate you if it wasn't there.
