I think I am going to skive off work early! Wouldn't normally, but I'm getting nothing done here today as I can't concentrate for more than 5 mins, and I WANT TO GO HOME! (well actually, to my mum's so I can collect my new anti-hayfever-toy!) And it is my birthday after all......so there!
DH has found another car and a camper-van for us to look at tonight - I honestly think he is becoming obsessed! I know I said we need to develop more hobbies and interests together - but viewing vehicles is not exactly one I had in mind! :rotfl: At least these are close, so I'll still have time to have a bath and try to 'scrub up' before we go out to eat.
Have a good evening everyone!

don't worry - I ate an entire pot of hummous (I mean a BIG one), a whole cucumber and half a dozen carrots last nite - and half a box of bread-sticks too! DH doesn't like hummous so didn't want to share - what a shame - LOL!.The best advice you can give your children: "Take responsibility for your own actions...and always Read the Small Print!"

:rotfl::rotfl: But again - I could have done that without the healthy vegetable snacks, I LOVE hummous!!!
I think I am just frustrated that because the car had to go to Exeter to be serviced, my OH isn't here to help me out into the garden so I am sat indoors watching a glorious sunny day just drift by. I am already gazing at his briefcase wondering whether he has any chocolate hidden in there!! (not good for diabetics, but then neither was 3 bags of crisps!!:rotfl::rotfl:)
To squeeze a tiny bit of OS in here - I made a card this morning and have sorted out the recycling box.
Diva.xTo be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.0 -

My mate's selling a VW camper van - not the old sort, but the second generation - this sort of thing (roughly). It has good history. If you have any interest, PM me.
Was I allowed to say that?If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Hi All
Well not a lot of OS done in the past two days.............DH has been off work. We went to a forest park yesterday with the dog and had great fun, except we kind of read the walking trails wrong and ended up doing the 8 mile one cause we were following the wrong arrows! Definately not good if you knew DH or I. Even the dog looked well and truely miffed by the end of it! Lol! Today we went to the beach for a few hours but it really was too warm and my hayfever is driving me crazy..............sitting on the grass probably wasnt the best idea I have ever had! DH is now out tackling our jungle of a garden and I am hiding out in the house! As soon as I step outside my eyes and nose start to stream! not a good look!
Only constructive thing of the past 2 days has been that I have got lots and lots of washing done, the weather has been so great it has been drying in no time. Downside being I now have a pile of ironing about the same height as me! Aww well DH is back to work tomorrow so that can be my job for then!
Hope you are all well
Linz xoxoxIts hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........
People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!0 -

I am currently enjoying the benefits of codeine. The drive's not too bad...it's split in two, and I'll be on holiday.
And yes thanks, the cake was fine. You're supposed to put the spice in with the boiling fruit well that's what I did and it was ok, honest!
Well actually, since you ask, I have started 14 threads in total, and 11 of those were daily threads:p:p:rotfl:(Is it kinda sad that I actually checked?
:o) Mind you the last time was 9 months ago
SunnyGirl, meant to say earlier, fingers crossed for your dad tomorrow. Hope it goes well.
NPM hope you get the headaches sorted, it's so debilitating, I don't know how you cope.
Came back from shopping with very little, they weren't giving anything away;) Had a good browse round TKMaxx and picked up a couple of thermos travel cups to use out in the garden. We have those china ones with the lid/saucer except DH keeps breaking the lids. Hopefully even he can't break stainless steel  I don't like the flies swimming in my tea. Popped into aldi's and got a pineapple, plums and cherries, 49p each. Had wanted the galia melon, but they were out of them. Still, I'm pleased with what I got.
Off to start the dinner. Have a lovely evening all. CM xYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

FE enjoy your birthday meal tonight and I hope the second week flies by:D
sunnygirl fingers crossed for your dad tomorrow
GP has phoned and I need to go to Neurology department at 8 45 tomorrow to see the consultant for tests:rolleyes:.....its all a bit rushed and OH will have to take DS to school...which isnt the usual DS routine and will go down like a lead balloon....have also had to rearrange Sainsbug order which was coming tomorrow morning.
I am panicking a bit about it but it needs sorting out...it has been 3 weeks now of at least one migraine a day and I am tired and am now finding it difficult to cope with caring for DS as I am feeling very short tempered and mr flappy constantly bleating on about numbers and times and asking same questions 50 times an hour is hard to deal with....am managing to cope on the surface but I feel like screaming half the time:o
I am hoping they just confirm migraine tomorrow and get my treatment sorted and that they dont find anything else:rolleyes:0
