Yep I think that sounds like a plan to me too! I had a local wardrobe company come round to quote last night for our sliding wardrobes. Beautiful wardrobes. I'd like 2 split panel doors and one full mirror doow.. with soft close... came to almost £2000!!0

I would be interested to know where i can buy the shoe racks, tie racks and pull out trouser racks from
I am planning on building a built in wardrobe in our bedroom and have no intention of paying £k's of pounds for some cls and plasterboard.
obviously the expense will be in the doors and fittings but hoping not to much0 -

£2000 probably isn't THAT bad littlerose! Sliderobes were double that!

Yep.. I fell in love with the soft close option!! Typically more expensive!0 -
Morning all..
Well if you're after MSE sliding doors.. do not go to Sharps or Hammonds!!
Hammonds came in at £3500 and Sharps a whopping £4500! Shocking!! The sharps one started out at about £11k but they have 50% off and an extra 20% off. Not cheap!0 -
We self installed BnQ sliding mirror doors last year but they slip off the track constantly and TWO have cracked corner to corner.
SHarps quoated us £3800 (thats with a 67% discount!) but are charging £400 because we have a Combi, no odd angles just four doors and storage solutions.
I used Ikea's home planer and made up similar Wdrobes and storage for £700 (without macthing door for Boiler cupboard).
Sharps offer 12 years guarantee but theyre not cheap.
Decision not made yet.0 -
