I've received all cashbacks due with some (non-legal) pressure appliedJust thought I would add my final experience about OSPS...
At the final cash back claim, they refused the claim because I had downgraded the tariff after 8 months, even though my original paper work showed I only had to stay on the same tariff for 6 months and i was told by members of their call team when I first took out the contract and again at my first claim that it is possible to downgrade after 6 months with no effect to my cashback.
After I sent them a letter explaining what I had been told, along with the original paper work stating the original offer and tariff conditions, they sent me a cheque in the post for the full amount of the last claim, no letter of explanation or apology, but hey I got my money!
So although I had to fight a bit for it, they paid up!Sexkitten

How are this bunch for honouring cashback deals?
Considering a deal from them at the moment which looks quite good if the cashback actually happens, but much less good if its going to be a bit of a stuggle.
Opinions most welcome.
Thanks!0 -
Through no fault of my own I've lost some/all of my cashbackEntered into a contract with them at the beginning of the year - Cashback No.2 arrived today. Its been hardwork so far.
I think OSPS has the potential to be a good thing - they just let themself down from the moment they FAIL to issue the vouchers - and that sets the downhill spiral process in motion.
Shame really.0 -

I've received my new phone today together with three vouchers.
I have a 9 months free rental deal.
There are no details though of when to claim. The notes to say check redemption details on the sales invoice but the invoice just says 9 months free.
The vouchers say to attach to relevant phone bill as specified in welcome pack but again i can't see anything.
I am presuming it's 4,8 and 12 months from the date of connection and to send a copy od the most recent bill at that time.
But do i need to get anything in writing first to confirm this?
Thanks0 -

I am very unclear as to how I claim and keep on asking them but when I do get a reply it is only little bits of the story not just making it clear.
My contract starts the 28th Sept but my first invoice with orange is the 5th Oct. So is the first month Sept. or Oct.. If it is September do I send my claim at the beginning of December. I think it is deliberately confusing.
My friend on E2save says he has a schedule with the exact date so why cant OSPS do this?0 -
Old_Gold wrote:It is a shame as it is obviously a policy of theirs to do this rather than the occasional mistake. They also did not include my vouchers or welcome pack with my phone. Lucky enough I had read enough to know this was likely but how does the normal person know they need these vouchers which OSPS say you must have and if you have not had them within fourteen days tough luck.

Can i ask if you have been told when to send your bills in? I don't have anything on my invoice. Just says 9 months free rental.0 -
I am on a 12 month cashback deal. The form I received from OSPS states free gift month 4, 8 and 12. Please refer to welcome pack for further information.........can you guess the next bit...........I had no welcome pack.
However I then got in touch and they sent me the voucher by email. Explanation note with the cashback vouchers states check redemption times on invoice....aha .....so I go to the invoice for the answer and..........
Did you ever play that game when you were young where you write on a page in a book see page 82. Then on page 82 you write go to page 127 and then on page 127 you write go to page 171............I think these phone companies are still playing that game.0
