they never sent you details about cashback yet you waited 6 months to email them asking what you should do? I don't think you can say that you lost cashback through no fault of your own0

Through no fault of my own I've lost some/all of my cashbackIt was my first ever cashback deal & I was young.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0

Through no fault of my own I've lost some/all of my cashbackI still think it is accurate - what if they didn't send me the hands free and I asked 6 months later? It is still part of the package & therefore fraudulent not to provide it! How was I meant to know that they wouldn't just credit my bank account after 6 months?
PS Just checked back & it was 3 months later I emailed them, not 6. My memory of January 2002 is a little poor.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0 -

By reading the Terms and Conditions of the deal, if you had then it would have been through no fault of your own. As you didn't read the T&C's it's your fault you lost the cashback, simple really0 -
This Poll is a great thread and I applaude REESTIT MUTTON for his innovation. I have referred back to it on quite a few occasions already. I am just about to test Mobile Outlet for the first time (So I'm saving my vote) I used E2Save last year and they were slow but came up with the goods eventually.
PS - Board manager, can this be made into a sticky thread? Otherwise it just gets more bumps than a very bumpy thing.A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.0 -

Thanks for the kind words Christy.
I have a better idea (don't I always? <grin>) - rather than end up with more stickies at the top of the board than we've had hot dinners as we follow this approach with ever more retailers, all we need is a single sticky post to act as an index for all cashback retailer polls.
Basically the sticky index post will contain a short descriptive link to each individual poll thread so that they never get lost in the noise.
I'll have a word with Edinburghlass and see if she can set one up.

Sounds good - The cashback element of buying mobiles is a major talking point and I think we need to explore (& exploit....LOL) as many of these companies as we can to get a good return. I was gobsmacked to hear of the amount of people who fall foul to cashback deals for one reason or another. So yeah - stickies, special threads, whatever - bring it on Edinburghlass.A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.0
