Well out of pure desperation a few months back as my partner was being made redundant and didnt have enough money for my wedding I fell for paying a fee of £60. Really stupid I know ... mug is the cry. But I felt there was nowhere else to turn! As previous posts mention, they havent found me a loan, and was so peed off with them they have now started to text and call saying a decision has been made and to get in touch!
But instead of ringing them I have been seeking inspiriation from the Debt Free Wanabee forums!
I have today worked out my debts on the snowball calculator and set up standing orders in to different accounts to seperate all my money!

I have worked out if I over pay by £77 on my high interest loan, then my 6 debts will be payed off completely in 25 months, saving about £6k on interest payments. My aim is to start this in September after my wedding. I have written everything down and determined not to make my 6 debts in to 7!
Thank god for sites like these!!!
    Don't be duped like I was,never again!
By the way it is UCC and YES loans that are hounding me, and yes my details were transferred to them by reputable high street lenders! I think I would rather them just say no and leave me at that!

Oh i hung up on Ucc the other day, after they said i'd been in touch recently over a loan I gave them no chance to speak again, I said i wasn't interested. The guy proceeded to be clever and ask what it was I wasn't interested in. I just said nothing at all and I'm hanging up now and did so.

Don't get cocky with me it don't work lol

does anybody know of maddison finance???
  • Never heard of them. I only seem to get entries in the US when I google them... If there is nothing on them, I'd personally steer clear.

maddison finance are one of the biggest con artists i have ever come across. They promise you what you have applied for, take your money and dont look back. When my son had some paperwork come it was nearly half he had applied for the rate was around 5o% and wanted someone to guarentee it who owned property, I have hounded them for the money, but now they say can't have back it is to cover the paper work, which isn't what i was told. STEER CLEAR PLEASE

Yes,stay away from them, they agree a loan amount and repayment, tell you your accepted and need to pay £70 deposit to cover them if they send out the paperwork and yu dont take the loan out, when u get the paperwork its not what was agreed on the fone, higher repayments, ridiculous interest and a gaurantour required, they know people wont take the loan so keep the deposit on the grounds that u have not taken it,im fighting it at the moment...CON ARTISTS!!!!
