well have set my OP to come out on 1st, would have been a bit more but ex cant pay his maintenance this month (started a new job apparently and missed this months cut off)

So total OP for year is a whopping £3500 :j :T
I am absolutely astounded that I have managed it I really really am
have only got figures from July OPs but interest saved so far £4880 :D

have knocked off 18 months off the end date and its now going to be Sept 29 but i am going to reduce my term to 15 when the fixed rate ends end of feb hopefully if the rates havent gone up too much.

remaining balance should be £83,088.76 for the end of the year :D

    Well done Pammy. :T

I am struggling to save nearly as much as I did when tesco was a coupon friendly place and I was hardly paying for my groceries.

When I did my overpayment at the beginning of the year I reduced the term to 16 years, so have got just over 15 years left. My deal ends on 1st Dec, so can overpay anything I like after that date. Think it will be next week before I can get there though, but have £4200 to overpay which I have saved over the year. Will look to keep my payments the same and reduce the term, quicker I can get it paid off the better!

Thats great LS, how much have you got left to pay (if you dont mind me asking)
I know what you mean about the mocs but cant believe I can still OP, think I am also only buying half what I used to get with mocs anyway and trying to keep to the grocery challenge budget.
You have still managed to save a load :j £4200 :T even without the mocs though so well done hun x
I am really tempted to reduce to 14 years just for the mentality of it all.
Are you gonna start a diary for next year?

After this overpayment it should take my balance to around £95000. Can't remember the exact figures, I wrote them down when I phoned about a month ago and can't remember where I put them!

I ought to start a diary, I know. Whether I'll get round to it or not is another matter!!

Thank you guys, cant believe it actually, but I am really determined with it and will try as much as I can, with the grocery challenge, money neutral gifts, surveys etc.
