Just a pound off for me this week. But after remaining "stable" (humph!) for the last two weeks, at least it's an improvement.
Good luck all! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
I lost 2.5 this week. Total of 22lb in 7 weeks. Loving it. Feeling a huge difference now. Can't wait to lose more and feel totally motivated. Can't get myself into exercising at all though I find it sooooooooo boring xx:j0

Blimey - well done Shazanne!!!! 22lbs is a brilliant loss......and I'm identifying with the feelings about exercise.
Big round of applause to you! :T :T

I've just been on a 50 minute health walk and weighed myself on the way back. I've finally gotten over the stalemate of the last two weeks, and lost 0.2 kg, this is just under 1/2lb. Not the 2lbs I was hoping for but I've not been trying.
M'colleague says it's best to refer to your weight loss by visualising quarter pounders. So since starting my FFW journey I've lost 40 quarter pounders."Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." (Montgomery, L.M.(1908). Anne of Green Gables.)

Hello! I haven't been on this thread before, but I really need to loose some weight and find some motivation/will power from somewhere!! Can any of you recommend a good free (or cheap) website for keeping a food diary - somewhere that will tell me how many calories I've eaten etc?Snootchie Bootchies!0

Hi there.
I just googled "free online food diary" and it came back with a few things. Check it out - hopefully you will find one you like.
On the exercise front peeps, I did 40 minutes workout at home last night (free!) and today I did lots of walking at lunch time and I have a 10 minute walk to the bus stop later as no lift home tonight.
It'll be cold but I'll be chanting my mantra along the way...

Hi :santa2:
I'm not technically a DFW but I am definitely a FFW, can I still join in this thread?
OMG I stepped on the scale for the first time in what must be a year and  I am 10st13 (5ft6). I have never ever been this heavy in my life- about 5 years ago I was 10st 8 but then slimmed down to 9st and pretty much stayed between there an 9st 7 for a few years. I have shot up recently to almost 11st - I cant believe it, I need to kick myself up the backside. (I really dont mean any offence to anyone who is heavier- but we all have our own 'omg weight' its not a reflection on anyone elses)
I used to do a fair bit of exercise in that I was part of my uni horse riding team until 2 weeks ago, then they moved the training to 54 miles away from where I live :O - so I had to quit. I also quit my gym membership because, well, it's expensive and i HATE it- I dont see any point in shelling out all that money to something you hate. So I'm really interested in what cheap (and fun) exercise they do to lose weight?
Also, I just wanted to join in to kinda track my progress. This thread is brilliant as it kinda simulates the 'weightwatchers' meetings without the need to shell out the £3 subs a week- very MSE! :T Do you all have a weekly weigh in?
Another thing, (i couldnt decide whether to post this on the OS board) but do any of you recommend a good low fat recipe website/book thats NOT american (strange ingrediants ive never heard of and odd measurements) AND gives you the calorie/fat content of the meal (some just say 'yeah, this is low fat' without giving the figures!)?0
