Aw, sounds lovely. Hope you can work the 4-day week, are you lined up with a job? Elliot had his first experience of the sea last week and he loved it, wish I lived by the coast - but I should take him swimming more often <tut tut>

No job in sight yet, not even a sniff of one:eek: unless I want to move to Aberdeen (hell no:eek:) or London (only slightly less hell no:eek::rotfl:)

Tut Sammy, stick your thumb out - your left hand makes a 'L' for you. No need to write it on your hand :D

Well its a hell of lot easier than the one you right with is your right and the one thats left is the left....:rotfl:usually missed the turn off by then.

I have just arrived at my next destination...

How I wished you were in the car with me.....

    Bloomin SatNav....

This is going to make me sound like a right idiot. I was being told to stay left so I stayed left but thought I am sure I should be right......so i thought satnav was wrong, but i had got my left and right confused....I do know my left and right, but i have to think about it, I seem to have a real block with it, so we stopped at the services and I wrote L and R on my hands.......then I missed a turn off and instead of sending me to the next junction to turn round it took me on a diversion that added 20 miles to my journey.

Then it took me on a little diversion through haslingden..:confused:and then even though I knew my way to my mothers i followed the satnav and kept getting lost:rotfl:
You can make an L with your L hand, that's how I remember it...

Bloody satnavs  I made the mistake of using one when coming home from visiting a friend - once I got into town I still followed it to the train station to collect OH even though I obviously knew the way  flucking thing took me the longest stupidest way possible, do you think they have independent thought and do it deliberately when you're on a route you should know?

Bit p!ssed off this afternoon :(

Just overheard a discussion in the office that one of the girls who is off on maternity, that I'm covering for, wants to come back early, so that'll probably be me out of a job :(

Might see if I can catch the (miserable) boss lady on & her own & ask a few questions, trouble is she's so abrupt & bites your head, regardless of what question you're asking

Earlier than what Inky - are you contracted for a certain amount of time.....deep breath and ask the !!!!!.......

remember she probably just needs a good shag........:o:rotfl:

I am thinking 405 Luc.....:confused:maybe!? I thinks thats what Sally has...

Are there any photos from yesterday yet? Want to see if I look speshul:p

  • Hi guys quick note on garmins, i got the forerunner 50 with the foot pod and HR monitor for £99.99 (£30 cheaper than amazon ) from He Runs She Runs in the Arndale centre, but their technically part of SweatShop, here the link http://www.sweatshop.co.uk/details.cfm?ProdID=2854

it's cheaper without the foot pod and hr monitor but for £100 my OH couldn't resist treating me hee hee

We have quite a few left handed children, so have to use a different method to get them to remember :D

Well I was hoping to go back start of September. At least then I'll finally be able to sign on for JSA if nothing turns up...

London is great but would be a hell of an upheaval...
