That is IT, I need some shoes that are comfy in hot humid weather, suitable for work (work not at all smart, though), available in a 7 AND also vaguely stylish. Any takers? Just trudged around the shops totally uninspired and hot and bothered now. Bought some overpriced food in Pret to feel better <not sure that worked>

Ebay! I got some rocket dogs and skechers for about £13 each. I'm a size 7 too and find it really hard to get shoes that fit and are a reasonable price.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

OK I am in cinders palace. Is there a max number of goes you can have in a day? Or a max number of tickets?
There's a max number of cards per game but you can basically play until you run out of points...

Do you want flats or heels??

I buy my work flats in Next or Monsoon and my work heels in somewhere like dorothy perkins - I wear shoes till they wear our for work so I need to spend a bit more than I would like because I want comfort - but if you are after cheapness try Primark :D

    Oh and I'm a size 7 too :p

Ok Luc, I can see now how it works...so how many point have you won? I can see I would be the only person to play loose all their points and not win any back!

Thanks Ames and Becky, I usually browse Schuh on Ebay but forget to check the auctions! I'll have a look at home. I do have some from Next but they're not a perfect fit, I think the problem is my odd feet to be honest.

Ideally I'd like a low(ish) wedge - am 5'8 so not after much height. But flats are fine. In fact I have my eye on http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B001O0E7FY/ref=ord_cart_shr?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE these, um links isn't working properly, I think, sorry... anyway they look soft and lovely but ££££££££! I suppose I could return them if overpriced... they're just on the okay side of smart, I don't wear smart clothes really, linen trousers and pretty tops but not really office wear.

Can you see that it is a testament to how meaningless my job is, in that I have had a week off and returned to no emails, no requests, and no increased workload - or I wouldn't be on here

Thanks lovely people, well the school can contact CAMHS if they like - I guess at least they are taking Ryan's condition seriously now (albeit in a rather heavy handed way), which is better than the 'head in the sand, lets pretend he's absolutely fine' approach they were taking last year.

I'm not a perfect parent by any stretch, but I know I do my very best, and cope pretty well, all things considered, so I'm not going to start beating myself up about it again.

Shoes - I've been struggling to find ones I like recently too. I wanted some fairly plain, black, high heels a little while ago - couldn't get any that I liked and were a good fit for love nor money.
