Thanks lovely people, well the school can contact CAMHS if they like - I guess at least they are taking Ryan's condition seriously now (albeit in a rather heavy handed way), which is better than the 'head in the sand, lets pretend he's absolutely fine' approach they were taking last year.

I'm not a perfect parent by any stretch, but I know I do my very best, and cope pretty well, all things considered, so I'm not going to start beating myself up about it again.

Shoes - I've been struggling to find ones I like recently too. I wanted some fairly plain, black, high heels a little while ago - couldn't get any that I liked and were a good fit for love nor money.
You're the perfect parent for your children though, of course :) yes it is good that they're taking it seriously, you're right. I can't imagine the frustration you have gone through.

I think scorgeous linked to some black heels this morning, in the sale at Faith.

Actually I love gadgets :D:D, useful ones is all :p

I train in a different way to you guys though so I dont need a garmin - I just do what I feel and roughly guess the distance and then measure it afterwards - I do splits on my watch anyway so its easy enough :D

If you want one buy one - dont let me put you off I am mad :D

I just want an idiot proof thingy that tells me how far I have run, how fast and whether I went up or down hills slowly or fast...I have absolutely no faith in my own 'feeling' of how fast or slow I am running. I agree with Sally the Nike+ thing is a bit 'basic'.

I have resisted buying a garmin for months thinking that I might grow out of running, but after every run I spend ages planning the next one, so I am thinking that I may still be running long enough to get some use out of it. I even bought some running shorts this morning with a pocket in it so my phone doesn't get sweaty anymore....

See if I had had a garmin I could have saved my phone yesterday:D
