Hi all! Definatly doing better - I have deleted what I did and left what I didnt. BUT i did also decorate my kitchen/dining room and repainted the bathroom ceiling so i am well chuffed with that.
I also blitzed my garden as it looked like a field!

I had a couple of days off this week and went to visit a friend...............she lives 45 mins away but it took me 4 hours to get home as the car broke down 3 times. Luckily another friend has rac and came out just as I was reading through the haynes manual thinking what do I do now? Hopefully its only a small problem.........

Been thinking about this heat and I keep a clean flannel in the fridge. It helps when I am all hot and sticky and want to wipe my forehead/back of the neck......

    tale care all

    1 step xx

59 Its a long time since I have been to the Hoppings. We used to go when I was a small girl. I have been back as an adult but they arent my cup of tea.

The ghost at work was very active when the bungalow was first built/commisioned. A member of staff saw him very clearly one Sunday standing beside the door of a client who was unwell. The member of staff said he had a calming effect on her. The client often follows someone around the room with her eyes and laughs. He walked past me one night and I thought it was a colleague but it wasnt. That area always seemed to have a strange heavy feeling. It got really bad and the area was cleansed by burning sage. He is very much a practical joker. Lights on and off Fire doors open and shut and taps turn on. Items are often moved then are put back after you spend ages looking. We call him Spooky Lukey and often talk to him. He is not so active now.

My decluttering today was three items - the word minimalist springs to mind...two necklaces and a book to HTA.
And I resisted the lovely 'piggy' bank in the shape of a cow...

carer was early and I didnt have my pasta on - this is going to get tricky if I havent got quick things to cook - we got there as she was one of the really nice ones but some will not be so patient I think:rolleyes: she finished filling the Dw with the tea dishes and its on and will get emptied in the morning.

Pleeease dont be worrying about my list - its really just a reminder for me - there are samll jobs I can do - filing washing door seals etc but I will forget if I havent got my list - there is no way i will mange it but I do want to try to do what I can and some of it I will carry to next week as it may be a while before some things come round again!

    All my ironing is finished!!

I've also put another load in the WM. The clothes on the line aren't quite dry but I'll have to rewash some of them as DH has been using the pressure washer and there are specks of dirt on them.

How do you do it? - mine's engulfing the dining room as I type....

I was so pleased about clearing the hall that I ate a chocolate biscuit and a jam tart from the shop. First shop bought stuff of that type I have had since January, and I am struggling to cope with the sugar rush. Remind me not to do that again!
