Flower tootifruities is more than one person - she is a flylady amalgamation so that the stars can always be done on page 3 AFAIK and to cover sickness and holidays
Gosh it's close (as they say hereabouts) what Peter Kay calls sticky weather...
Nearly melted doing my ironing.
Got some bargainous sandals while looking for shoes for DS in the Clarks sale...and caused merriment when I told him he was NOT going to a wedding in trainers and the shoes I am buying him for work experience will be used for the wedding too. Every other woman in the shop (they were ALL tab-hanging - derbyshire speak for earwigging or listening in) was clearly the mother of a son because they were all smirking and I was RATHER insistent. And in BHS came away with a shirt and tie set and a shirt for £9 - from mens section for him too!
(MY sandals only cost £14.99 and they were leather *gloat* I'd have been daft NOT to get them)
Ha, thought I had missed somethingthanks Valli!

she has given me a lovely little card. Its a poem called My Angel Mum. I was really touched. awh bless your DD - what a lovely thing to do.
I love Scotland and have family there. I have always wanted to live there. Sounds daft I know but its like going home when Im in Scotland. My maternal gran was a McLean and my fathers ancestors were Scots so that might explain it. there must be something pulling you to here - you never know you might manage to live here - you obviously have a great feeling for this lovley land.
Off to do the spare room now.
Meant to say could I have some healing vibes please for DDs friend who is in intensive care.funfairprincess wrote: »Well cupboard under the stairs is now DONE! Livingroom rearranged/dusted/hoovered, cross stitch stuff put in its bag/proper place (did I tell you I'm in the mag next month?) knitting stuff in its rack, hotspot on top of fridge cleared, shreadding done, filing done. No angel - soappie created another ID which her and I have the details for so that she can step in and help with the stars if I am awol for any reason!

my god that was hardcore :eek:
In my hhc I got down to de-cluttering the floor in DS1's room and decided to go through all the boxes under his bed (still more to do). Have just pulled out enough stuff to do another car boot sale. I'm going to need to go back under and wipe the walls and skirting too. But it's so muggy here, I definitely need a nice cup of tea before I can face going back in.
