Hi everyone! I've missed so much of the thread that I don't know where to start now. Will try to read back some of it, hope I haven't missed anything important. Love and hugs to all.
I've got to get the place all nice ready for Friday as we have a supposed home management visit. I wonder if it will be a mythical one like last time?
Hope everyone is well, I will go and try to catch up now"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Toots I did once consider trying to find out more about the site but never got around to it. I think he is linked to the travellers/show people who lived on there for 30 or 40 years. DD has ghosts but I dont think I have any in here.0

OH is going to Newcastle tomorrow to bring a load back up here. He's going to ask around some of the older show people to see if they know of anything he's as nosey as me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
OH and DS1 decluttered out to dj. DS2 and HRH are watching the end of their film and I hope they fall asleep quick that way I'll do a bit of study then a bit of my afghan. Result of the day is that I have found my grandads dictionary:T:T I have lots of dictionaries but always go back to it as it has words in it that aren't in the new ones. It's a poor looking soul too all held together with gaffa tape.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Dusty Well done DS2.
funfairprincess Its a place called Choppington/Scotland Gate in Northumberland.

Spent all day today doing the front garden. Bind weed hell but tis much more presentable now. Can't say the same for my face and shoulders though. I am resembling a swan vesta at the moment.:o

Evening
Glad it wasnt just me who thought we couldnt post - I thought if was off until tonight - goodness knows what I read
Busy day to day. Took DD into town, went to jewellers and have decided to have my engagement ring made bigger as it is sooo tight now. not sure how I managed to get it on before as its an I and they're making it up to a K and will declutter me of £24 to do it !!
Then went on a hunt for dresses, (I struggle with this as I dont do dresses) - unsuccessfully until we tried the little dress shop just down the roadfrom the house. The one I really liked was too small as its a very small cut but I think I've made my mind up although I did like a fabulous black designer dress. trouble is as they are one offs I will need to wear flat shoes so thinking along the lines of flip flops so now am surfing for those.
Anyway back onto flying DD and I have had HUGE HUGE arguments and battles as [STRIKE]we[/STRIKE] No I decided I wasnt going to let a french student see her room like that next week so told her it had to be done. Serious mess it was in and we're half way there now so will finish and do pics later when I catch up with fred.
junky - hope gran is ok
rosepink - I love the size of my house but not the cleaning (or decorating) - 12 rooms plus the top and bottom hallways, spiral stairs and 1.5 sets of normal stairs
rach - enjoy your days off next week if I forget to say. I'm thinking about thurs/fri off but will have to see how I go with the cleaning and stuff.
toots - the chair sounds brilliant, hope its as comfortable as you need
triker - enjoy scotland, I loved Edinburgh when I worked up there
boddy - what a lovely thing your daughter did for you
flower - thanks for the link, will check it out later
1step - poor you - hope the car problem isnt an expensive one. Good idea about the cold flannel, although I remember thats what my dad used to do to us when we were kids and wouldnt get up !!!
cyclingyorkie - believe me you'll never be the biggest challenge to this thread although we do get there eventually dont we pigpen (she says remembering the middle room - hows it looking these days)
Pigpen - is DS1 still short of anything now for when they come home with Jacob
kazwookie - well done on selling everything thats brilliant
Right gonna grab DD again and see if we can get her tip finished or at least nearly finished
PS thanks for the email address Jo - still not sure what I'm doingMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0
