Been a funny old week this week, not feeling my usual chirpy self. Just spoke to OH on the phone and told him that and he said he felt he wasnt feeling too chirpy this week either! is it the weather do you think??

According to the reflexologist (I went this morning) it's all down to the solstice last weekend, so hopefully things will pick up soon. If you start noticing the phases of the moon its funny how you see a link between them and the way you feel from day to day!

Pigpen - congratulations - two whole stars already this week. You're obviously on a mission! And are you sure that your clothes still actually fit properly? I've sometimes found that I think they do, but by going down a size I can see that they don't, as the smaller clothes look much better on!

FFP - your smiley inserts always make me smile
FFP - your hols have started early, ours have 3 weeks left yet

Nice pictures Kaz I love your kitchen mine is a S**t hole. Horrid wood pannel wall that I will get around to doing something with just shortly and I'm doing before during and after pics of the hall (yes it's still in progress!)
Glad I make someone smile I don't do that often. Scottish hols always start early but ours go back in the middle of August.

FFP - can you send the kids round to someone else's house to burn off all this energy? Or at least get them generating electricity with it

the electrcity is a great idea now I just need to work out how I harness that power! To be fair it's my fault they all play here apart from all the out door toys my kids have I prefer to have them here so I can see exactly what they are doing even though I don't watch them every second of the time.

Mrs B my 3 all help out in the house. I expect the boys to put their plates and cups in the kitchen, keep their room tidy etc, on one occassion when I told them to tidy the mess up cause I couldn't see the carpet or it all went in the bin they laughed at me. So I told them they had 10 minutes to make a start and i would help a bit. they didn't so I binned the lot. Hard lesson but they haven't ever done it again. I think it hurt me more than them the amount of money the toys cost me. HRH always helps with the housework she has her own dyson, mrs mop trolly with a mop and bucket a sweeping brush and cloths. She loves to clean should really have called her Anthea! I think it's finding a balance where they have respect for you and the house not just expecting you to do everything. My 2 boys brought in my washing tonight which was a nice surprise I wouldn't ask them to do that but i do ask that they put dirty clothes in the basket.

MrsB I've been feeling very iffy this week, not just with being full of cold, like a general not-quite-myself thing, and someone suggested it might be the weather. This hot muggy weather is not fun.
Just spotted Greenbee's answer, that might have something to do with it as well, I definitely agree about the moon phases. Rose do you think this might have been partly what has affected you as well? Just a thought.

SarahS your job sounds great, I guess you'll have bad days, but you will be helping so many people.

Jo lots of hugs if you want them, hope you are okay.

Right I've been lazy today, getting over the rest of the cold, but tomorrow will be a new day, and I'll be here at 12 to report lots of flying. Otherwise Pigpen you have my permission to throw fluffy mules... which reminds me I need to collect my high heeled purple slippers from my parents next time I go up!

Thank you :D ..I've never had 2 stars before lol

The smaller size clothes won't fasten and if it does it is pulled tight so looks horrible on.. like I am wearing clothes a size too small in fact!

Mrs Beaston - what Piggers said. We have invisible ink!

    ahhh HA!! Gotcha now!! :D

Congratulations on the others for the weight loss from me too! Ive really got to think about it myself soon! Havent lost the baby weight this time as well! Before I had DS3 I was 9 & half stone! (which was a little TOO skinny to be fair.) Before I had kids I was knocking 13 stone and had been all my life.. the exhaustion of having toddlers to run round after, after spending years sat at a desk helped with that. If im brutally honest, I imagine all the wine I drink isnt helping :( (That makes me sound like a right 'ole soak!!)

Im also considering (only considering, mind!) for my MACAW... *deep breath* c o n s i d e r i n g... giving up smoking  For all you non-smokers, that wont seem like a big deal... the smokers out there will understand!!

    We'll see...

The film in set in New York, not Dublin. I have the DVD at home. If youd like to borrow it - I can send it to you......Or if you have Sky movies, its been on there recently so you can look out for it coming on again.

If you could see me now - I havent read it, but I got really excited when I thought there was a follow-on story and I googled it! Unfortunately, it isnt a follow on - its a different story. But Im sure it will be enjoyable, let me know if its worth the reading when you have finished and I may buy that next!

    Evening

Wanted to post before it goes 'read only' still catching up on the thread.

Yes please Jo :D I would love to borrow the film if I may. I will post you th ebook once I have finished both stories as I don't tend to read things again. I'll pm my details.

Hugs to everyone, won't be online until tomorrow evening at the earliest as it is the church summer fair tomorrow which will take a lot of the day. Also got a freecycle guy coming to collect the FF tomorrow afternoon.

Have filled the DW since I got in and decluttered a bag of plastic plant pots to another freecycler :)
