Jo - at least switch your TV etc off at the mains half an hour before you try to go to sleep.
Frogs... there were loads of baby frogs outside the office today (they'd obviously come out of the lake) about the size of raisins with tiny legs... unfortunately facilities forgot to put up the signs about them, so I think most of them got squashed
smokers - if you find it difficult to give up because of the constant fear of failing, don't actually 'give up', just don't smoke as much. I've been smoking more recently due to stress, but I'm still nowhere near even a pack a week! I generally only smoke at work (see, it's stress), and even then, if I'm busy, I don't have time. I NEVER smoke in the house, and if I buy cigarettes, I give them to my work smoking buddy (who gets through far more than me), so that I don't have access to them if he isn't around. I find I'm then too lazy to do anything about it if I do feel like one...
Princess Jane - plenty that needs doing here if you're bored
I've packed my bag for the long walk tomorrow, but can't help feeling I've missed stuff out. I have a spare top, fleece & waterproof, water (to be filled tomorrow), nuts, dried fruit, suncream, hat, handcream, spare socks, blister plasters, savlon, cash, credit card, lip salve, phone, mooncup (well, you never know!), walking poles, car pass, number etc... I've also put in my walking sandals for the moment, as I'm not sure whether to walk in them or boots... Ideally I'd like to take them with me so that I can change over if I want to, but they are quite heavy! I need to add my lunch tomorrow. I'm using a 20l rucksack as it has a proper frame and is held away from my back, which my little ones don't do.
I'll have to get up at 6 to get ready, so I supposed I should go to bed now!0 -

Thanks it was just stressful for the adults but for me sadder that the kids did not get much out of it.
Right kitchen is ship- shape, cats are contained so off to bed.
See you all tomorrow.
Greenbee - the boys like to have tapes/cds on at bedtime but I always switch them off at the wall when I go to bed - I hate white noise with a vengeance. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
dashes in squinting as is struglling to see straight at night again.
I have been busy. I am gutted I cvan't keep up and catch up but I must be realistic. Fluttering for me until those reports are typed and a myriad other jobs done. My life journey feels like two steps forward and one step back at the moment.
TV broke (this is the second in a week) so I have been to Morrisons and bought a branded but a brand I have never heard of for £199. Should help the peepers though as the screen isn't fizzing like the last one was...mum. bless her, has offered to help me out with it...have declined.
I hate being the 'poor' one in the family...
Please forgive me if you are going through !!!!!! and I haven't said anything - I log in and read the last page only...because I know how much our virtual online support is worth as you lot cheer me up and make me feel better when I need it.
