    :hello: Hello...

Didn't want you to feel that no-one was keeping an eye on you....!!! I've just stumbled across your diary and love your lists.. I am very much a list person and also feel very proud when I cross something off, even if its ...clean the toilet... makes me feel like i've achieved something..!

Ebay is quite easy once you get the hang of it.. my advice would be to check other items similar to yours that are for sale and check out the p & p being charged.. I tend to go lower than most (and don't lose/make money on the postal part) this keeps the customer happy...:D Unfortunately you are unable to advertise people for sale, particularly your OH's.. I think that's because too many people would list them....;)

Good Luck with your planned move..although if you are heading towards Spain can you take me too.... x

    Thank Time2GrowUp - much appreciated

I thought about DVDs & books on ebay to start with as I think they're fairly straightforward (& selling books would please DH).

I would love to take you to Spain but as I've not decided whether to take DH yet, I think an offer would be premature.

And lists - I did a couple of things today that I didn't plan - and I resisted adding them & then scoring them off. Just call me Monica from Friends.

Don't take DH, take me, I'd be much more fun..:j

I would have added the items to the list, just to get the pleasure of crossing them off.. sad i know....!!!!!

Have you tried amazon for selling books...I think you can do dvd's as well.. might be worth a look.. p & p is already set with amazon and if you search for the books/dvd's you want to sell you can see what is already up for sale and price your's accordingly... I'm a very lazy ebayer, it was/is free listing day today, and I put one item on..... runs away to write on list/cross off.... :D

When I make a list, I always add things I've already done just so I can strike through them. Now that is sad <slopes off in shame>

Now that Thursday's work is finished in time for the Mentalist & also DH has just called to say there is an offer on Jacques cider in Asda so he has been instructed to buy some - life is now looking good.

    Now, for Friday
Phone Thailand & I will get up really early tomorrow - I did call but got a non-English speaker - so it looks like a letter might be in order - but tomorrow
Meeting an interested party at Mum's tomorrow night - Done
Phone overseas aunt (via Skype, of course) - No answer
Shred stuff removed from files earlier this week as Tuesday is paper collection day - Done
Do the filing that has accumulated over the past few weeks. It's a job I hate but getting it out the road for the weekend would be nice. - Done

And Saturday is a day off - DH & I are both off so will take ourselves out somewhere with a picnic & take the doggy boys for a walk.

Now, I hear the couch calling.........

Had a lovely day off yesterday - very MSE as went to Ikea to return 2 doors that weren't needed. Sadly the shopping trolley got filled with necessary stuff so we spent more than we returned.
Today is gloomy & miserable so is a perfect day to do a housey list before work & gorgeous weather next week. so...

    Tidy & clean house
Washing & ironing to be brought up to date
Meal plan for week & do shopping for this.
Write letter to Thai bank (as phone calls aren't working)
Draw up letter to brother with EA details so when the letters from them come through I can post it off immediately.

All boring I know, but necessary

Off to have a coffee now to give me energy for a housey day

Well, housey day didn't go to plan - we've had visitors from 1 until 7 - house is tidied & cleaned though - well, apart from the bedrooms
It's amazing how keen friends are to stay when you offer food - but it's hard not to when they turn up at teatime....

But this means tomorrows list looks a bit like the list today
Ironing to be done - Done - at last
1 hour in garden - if the heatwave is here - What heatwave? it's cold here
Draw up letter to Thai bank - Done
Draw up letter to brother - Done
Meal plan for week. - Done

This is why I need to have this out in public - otherwise nothing would get done.

I'm impressed by how much you have got done - and gone to work too! Glad to hear you feel better in yourself for getting organised, I find it's the same with money matters and housework. ;)
