Sounds like gross misconduct to me too Fire Fox - but not the driver who called to check he was still to come in for his shift - NOOOOOOO
Lots of photos have been taken & we'll take more. The police are also sending out a photographer for their official bit (yes, it's been reported). But what upset DH most was a comment he heard - "Imagine hitting a 50 year old man". He now feels very old.
Off to Mum's today to do more house emptying. I'm aiming to have it finished this week so that when I'm off on holiday next week I can potter around the garden and do nice things.
Have a good day folksDebts 07/12/2021

Fifty is old ... from the perspective of a teenager in body or mind. My parents have now been retired for many years yet travel the world, doing things students only dream of. Keep yourself physically fit and mentally active you will never be truly old just experienced.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

He's a VERY bad person. Thanks Claire
Have lifted a lot of the ornaments out of Mum's house today - they're all in boxes in the garage & will stay there for while. I also lifted the glasses from the kitchen - I'll never have to buy another glass again......
The people buying the house live in flat across the road from Mum's and I keep thinking that they're watching wondering what we're taking now....
H/M lentil soup for tea tonight & fridge foraged stuff - DH makes wonderful lentil soup so off to prepare clothes for work tomorrow so I can sit with feet up for the rest of the nightDebts 07/12/2021

Thanks for your concerns folks. I'm fine.
Just a bit quiet these days - much to DH's approval.
House sale was meant to go through yesterday but due to issues with the buyer's lawyers it didn't happen. Hopefully it'll go through next week though as I really want this finished before I take DH to Hong Kong - a week on Monday, but I'm not counting.......
DH has also been given an appt with an oral surgeon next week as they now believe that he may have a fractured jaw from the assault. If this is confirmed then next question has to be - can I fly on Monday?
Joy, joy
Sorry you're having such a bad time FireFox - but Noahs are much better than men......
Take care folks - and thanks againDebts 07/12/2021

Sorry to hear DH may have a fractured jaw, I hope the police prosecute! :mad:Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Sorry to hear DH may have a fractured jaw
It's so annoying - but in true MSE style if this is the case then a wee claim to criminal injuries might be on the cards - I'm not a believer in the American sue me culture - but it is DH's decision as it is his face that is sore - but criminal injuries is a different situation - I think....Debts 07/12/2021

Oh no to OH's jaw, but better getting it investigated now. Fingers crossed you will be ok for your wonderful trip away.
Nice to see you back posting again too.0
