Hi guys,

The bizaga (bizarre saga) continues here.

In addition to the unannounced delivery of two tanks and the subsequent unannounced delivery of two hippo pumps, yesterday I got another unannounced delivery of a role of pipe and box containing two cute little inspection chambers and some plumbing bits. Although there were no instructions as to what to do with them.

B&Q have yet to contact me. Either to let me know what's going on or to ask for money.

Since I can't see that they've fulfilled their side of the bargain, I'm not sure I'm yet ready to part with my money.

I'm getting the feeling that it would have been quicker, easier and cheaper for B&Q to just pay up. This must be costing them a fortune both in money and reputation. The complete absence of any business process makes this farce so embarrassing for them.

Got round to doing some sums. You may like to check my maths, it's not my strong point.

I've assumed that the tanks are a regular cylinder. The internal diameter is 1.37m and the height of the main body of the tank is 0.56m

Volume of a cylinder is the area of the circle times the height.

Area of the circle is pi x 0.685 squared, which equals 1.474m2

Volume of the cylinder is 1.474 x 0.56 = 0.826m3

There are 1,000l in a m3, so the most this theoretical cylinder will hold is 826l.

However, the shape is a lot more complex than a cylinder, so in reality the volume is a lot less.

Busy today, and didn't really have the time to do this much, so definitely won't have time to contact B&Q or BP.

If anyone else does, could you let us know how you get on?

Not the one Hellowski as thats the brochure , on the main page when the tanks was £50 you can see a small image of a tank and house (I have a photo sent by PM but just unsure what it was)

Just catching up with things.

B&Q rang Friday afternoon and asked for my money.

As they are yet to fulfil their side of the bargain, I didn't give them any.

They offered to let me keep everything I have for free.

I've let them know that isn't good enough.
