With regards to the 'discretion' issue, the contract looks quite fair as the purchaser can cancel at any point. Therefore would this be an unfair condition?
go back to old kent road on this one, do not pass go, do not collect 200.
I wont run through whybut I can suggest you start at page 1 and read through

If you check back in this thread a number of people received offers of the tanks a few weeks ago. Since the delivery period is 4-6 weeks, I very much doubt anyone has actually got one.0 -
Thanks, I was just wondering how long before offers were made in the whole taking to court process.. Did they wait for the initial paperwork or up to a date being set?0
-
It's really hard to say because judging from some of the more recent replies on this thread, B&Q are making offers at an earlier stage in the claim than they perhaps were with the initial ones.0

Just after the defence is received for me. Got it and will confirm soon.0

Has anybody received their tank(s) yet.......I have. Trouble is the two I have had delivered are not even close to what I was promised:
a. they are black not green
b. they are smaller (not sure what capacity, but definately smaller)
c. no filter or pump included
I guess its back to square one !0 -

The spec sheets say that it does include diverter, filter and pump on the screen print.
The dimensions are down as 1.55mtr depth and 0,95 mtr height ...how does that compare with your dimensions ????It's not just about the money0 -
This was one of my concerns regarding any settlement involving supply of a tank.
The full specs are on my blog here http://iwantmywaterbutt.blogspot.com/2009/09/full-specs-of-rainwater-argonaut.html
Double click on any of the images to bring up a full size image. I hope that helps.0 -

I have two black tanks as well.
They are bare; no pumps nor nufink.
I also thought they were too small so I went back to my original order. The original tanks I ordered were 1100l and these tanks claim to be 1100l.
I haven't done anything about the missing bits yet because B&Q haven't contacted me about paying for them yet.
As soon as they get round to asking for my money, I'll be asking for the bits they have yet to deliver.0
