Grrr! Husband came to bed but is talking in his sleep so constantly that he woke me.

He did leave a heart shaped cookie on my laptop though. I've eaten it and probably forgive him.

My god ladies this thread moves fast!! It's just taken me over half an hour to catch up!

Hope you all are feeling well and anyone who should be seeing their bubs in the flesh soon is feeling the appropriate sensations!;)

I am sooooooooo tired! I'd forgotten how tired you get in the first trimester......tired, hungry and sore boobs but THANK GOD no sickness (yet)
I was trying to remember and think by this stage I was having definate nausea during my first pregnancy but by 8 or 9 weeks was having serious hyperemesis (which lasted waaaaayyyyy too long!) fingers crossed this time will be different.:o

Just one more shift in work before a whole 12 days off! :T:j Cannot WAIT to be off work and we're going away for a few days, just to the North Coast (not exactly Spain whoever that lucky person is!!) but can't wait for a break!

Sorry for not remembering names (I'm too tired to look back) but (is it Glamazon?) I'm sorry to hear you're having to start the insulin, hopefully it will sort itself out abit....be sure to monitor those Bsugars regularly after the insulin to be sure you're not going low!
*nursey talking to over now!* :o

Right must go to bed, already dreading Thurs nights shift as I know we're short staffed (again) and full up with seriously heavy patients, only a couple of my work mates know I'm expecting so feel terrible when I'm avoiding the heavy work but figure I'm best not trying to move the 30stone man with MRSA...........

OK good vibes to all and thanks for the welcome, by the way feel free to drop the 'm' and just call me Becca or Becs.:D

Glam - sorry to hear about the insulin, although it will mean you'll meet your little one at 38 wks induction, as opposed to 40wks, so I guess a little benefit, right? My sister was on insulin with her last 2 babies (she actually ended up staying on it though after pregnancy as it didn't go away). And she is a complete needle phobe - she said she got used to it pretty quickly. Hopefully, it will all level out for you now.

Becca - yes, this thread does move very quickly lol ! Glad you're feeling well, although tired. I imagine the sickness will come eventually - if you're anything like a lot of us, you'll want enough to feel it (for reassurance) but not enough to incapacitate! lol

DS2 slept in today - didn't wake up until 5:30!! (it's usually 4!) Wouldn't you know it, I still woke up at 4 and couldn't get back to sleep! lol Just my luck!

We're starting the "what to do to bring on labour" stuff soon. You know - fresh pineapple, hot curry, and ... um... ya know.... lol It didn't really do much last time with DS2, but I suppose it gives me something to focus on!

I still have to wash all the bedding and clothing - guess I'll be doing that this week so it's done on time, just in case. I was going to do it 2 wks ago, but got sidetracked with some other tasks.

Labour vibes to those who need them!

Right, that's it. This baby will be getting a stern talking to when she finally comes out! Hubby is off work next week so I don't have to worry about getting DS to school. He's going on a trip to Cleethorpes on Tuesday and has to be at school for 8.15. I'm hoping that I'm out of hospital and well enough to go and see him off though. And to make sure DH has packed everything he needs  I think I'm a bit of a control freak like that -I did some more food shopping yesterday, as if I think DH can't do any if I'm not here. Actually it was probably a good idea as he manages to spend 3 times as much as I do!

    Back later!

    Morning ladies,

Well DH didn't last long in the spare room last night - about 2 hours before turning up in our bed. After a while, he remembered why we got a new bed in the first place - the mattress seems to slope in our old bed so it's fine for very occasional use, but once it was in his head, that's all he could think about!

Welcome Becs - think I forgot to do that yesterday. :D

Getting ready for work now. Been up half the night with a dodgy tummy and other things so feeling rubbish, but better force myself to go into work. Only 5 more working weeks after this one! Yaaay.

Labour vibes to Pink and Tara. Let's see some movement soon!
