Hi to you all, first time I wore my maternity jeans(£8 off Ebay from Next!) today and I have a bump, YAY! Am 18 wks, 2nd child and was wondering when it would appear, look pregnant now rather than fat!

Aren't maternity shorts hard to find?! Went on Ebay and won a pair thank god, so looks like I will be wearing them to death. Watching a monitor and moses basket on there so fingers crossed. Definetely worth looking on Amazon though as some of the monitors are cheaper on there than people are paying on Ebay.

    Hope everyone is well?x:D

Yeah... DS2 didn't like mummy to eat, drink or get off her back. Actually I was sick in my sleep numerous times too. Had to lie on my side with a towel under my head.

hi ladies... just got back from midwife and bump is too big (everyone been saying how small it is?!?)

she said not to worry til next appointment, he might just have had a growth spurt, but did ask if there was a history of GD in the family (no) and my sample was clear...

she kept commenting on high bump is - hence constant heartburn... he's head down though, which is good, right?

    dont want GD!!

Just catching up and saw this - don't worry, I was in the exact same position last week: was measuring 34cm when should have been 29-31! They took a random glucose test as part of the bloods that appointment anyway, and then did mention GD, and arranged for me to see someone in the hospital a couple of days later. Turns out baby is completely normal size (well, a little over but not much) and my gluose level was normal so no diabetes :)

    Went out for Indian food.

    Mouth burning, tummy rather sore.

This baby has less than two hours to get the cool 07/08/09 birthdate in her US passport.

Okay, had a read through so can post properly now :D

Many *hugs* to those who would like them, and labour vibes to those in need :)

I have a feeling that none of us in the '22nd september' club will actually have a due date baby - seems like a couple of us (Glam and Jillie!) will be going early and I bet I go late :p

Not posted in a while: been a bit up and down recently (gotta love hormones ). Worst was probably yesterday and today: I got stuck in my car yesterday due to not enough space to get out as car next too close, so literally ended up pushing myself through a waaay too small gap to get out. Was hard pressure on bump :( Felt physically okay after, but very weepy indeed incase I harmed baby or placenta or something - did end up going for a weep in the toilets at work and of course got found out by one of the other girls :o Called the labour ward when I got home and they said to rest, eat something, and if I wasn't in any pain or no bleeding I would be fine. Still spent most of last night in tears though. So that was kinda okay as none of either, but then today felt pains across bump and down my sides (and tmi - really hurt when loo time: and i'm a little 'ahem' solid down there) so really worried again and called my midwife who reassured me again and said I baby is well protected and wouldn't have hurt anything. Bubs is moving (I think - I still find it a bit hard to tell sometimes) though I don't think just as much as the past couple of days. So the guilt and worry is still there as are the weepies :o And still rather sore.
    Sorry for being moody!
