off to do a spot of cleaning.0

Hi ladies. Sending big hugs to those feeling a bit pants today. Still sending lots of labour vibes to Tara and Pinkpig.
Just waiting for OH to get home as my glider came today and I need him to build it. I am so excited- planning to sit in it all evening.
Can't wait for my tea- having pasta with veggie sauce and garlic bread. OH can have filled pasta but I have gone right off it so will have tagliatelle I think.
Baby thought 4am was time to get active this morning and spent the first hour doing acrobatics in my uterus. I hope this isn't an omen for when he is born. I had to be up just after 5am anyway today, but could have done with that extra hour really.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
I 'think' it's 24-48hours, but call them as they tend to get the results back and not bother calling you, or that's what they did with me.
It will take 24-48hrs for the result to get back to your GP but it could take 1 day or two for the surgery to 'process the result' - GP to read, action i.e normal, make appt etc and then for the admin staff to deal with the ones that need to come in or require antibiotics. We get hundreds of results come in every day, every one deals with them every day but we still have a backlog!
Home now and after some cuddles my boy is awake! :jA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Mine too was a bit of a nightmare and had a transfusion, think the dizziness and light-headedness over took the pain. Keep meaning to read your birth story like you said, as they both sound quite similar. May do that tonight once have DS settled in bed.
Oh is scared of the whole thing happening again, so am i too, to be honest. So elective seems the easier, more relaxing route. Just the after effects that bothers me. Just going round in circles in my head, pros and cons of elective and VBAC. The whole medical intervention thing does not bother me at all. They can give me all the drugs and intervene as much as they want.
Let me put it this way WM, even though Dylan had a condition that only affects section babies (liklyhood is I would have needed an emergency section anyway even if I tried a VBAC as he was quite big !) I would make the same decision tomorrow in an instant. The doctors all knew what had happened last time, I got extra drugs to stop me having too much blood loss, Was given a total clean out of all the placenta which they normally dont do and allow you to pass some of it naturally afterwards, and got extra stitches after too. All in all it was longer as they took so much care this time, but worth every second of it and I wouldnt have it any other way again
Oh only thing is after pains are a real !!!!!! and hurt like hell for days, but think I would have got them anyway !!The two best things I have done with my life

in that case :eek::eek::eek::eek::mad::mad::mad::mad::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Just worked out I have £500 left this month after Direct Debits go out for food and fuel - I've just filled tank yday so am hoping to have at least £300 left over for Mat Leave Fund. August will be less as 2 weeks will be at 90% of wages but should still be able to save a bit.
I need to boost Overtime this month and next which shouldn't be hard as there is loads they want me to do before I go - it's just getting the motivation to actually do it when I get home and stay off MSE. Also feel bad about working at home when OH has been on his own all day.
The project he was trying to get off the ground 6 weeks ago looks like taking a step further - they want a meeting tomorrow so am praying something comes of it!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
