I have to do all mine an hour after food - can't see the point in doing it before hand

Didn't sit in the sun but did do some exercise on the Wii Fit - maybe I've tired him out more than myself! Might skip the jog tonight and just do the slow step aerobics for 10 mins.

God, I only do Bio Oil on belly, boobs and hips but do it twice a day. I rub any excess onto my thighs as an after-thought. Don't do down there though, that gets slicked up enough on it's own :rotfl:

thanks glam,,,ur a star,,,i just used it,,and its looking a little better than i had thought,,,well it works out that i will be payed for 39 weeks,,,i wanted to take about 47 and go back just before the summer hols next year,,to ease my self back od course ,,does anyone know what happens for the 39-52 weeks,,if i get nothing i will have to go back early...

SMP or MA is only 39 weeks - You don't get any pay between 39 and 52 weeks but you could ask your employer if you can carry over any unused annual leave into next year and tag it onto the end. That's what I was going to do if I didn't take it before Mat Leave.

I don't see the point of doing it before either, surely I need to know how what I am eating is affecting me? She did it today and it was 4.5, she was almost whooping but that was at 11am and I had breakfast at 6am so of course it's going to be low I hadn't had a mid morning snack and was starving!

I get slicked enough too, but the bio oil has stuff in it to help skin elasticity so I figure where do I need elasticity.... ??? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:(plus it stops the bikini itch!)

I am so shattered today! I went to a work party with OH last night. Drank non alcholic drinks all night, and we were only there for about 2 and a half hours so home and tucked up in bed by 10.30pm, but I feel like I've been clubbing all night!

Had antenatal appt today. Had 1+ protein and 2+ each of leukocytes and ketones in my wee, and still haven't put back all the weight I've lost since being sick 3 weeks ago. They've sent my urine off for a culture test in case its a UTI and ordered a blood count. BP was normal. Anyone know what the chances are that the urine test means a UTI?

MM have another question for you. This time about your elective section.
Am currently debating with myself over this. Have been told the recovery is much easier, better than after emergency section. How has your recovery gone? Just with the way Oh is and has been for the last 3 months, if he carries on like this, he will be in one ward and i'll be in another!

Will have a 5 year old, 2 dogs and a new baby to look after. I know that i must have been in pain last time after, but it seems to have faded from my memory. How bad is the pain from the cut etc. Any advice, experience welcome.

You still accure holidays whilst you are on mat leave and also you might get bank hols as well.

If your leave year runs from April to March and you don't plan to return until say end of June - don't forget you could use some of April 2010 - March 2011's annual leave.
Say you get 20 days plus 8 bank holidays - whilst you are on mat leave you don't get 7 bank holidays (legal minimum holiday allowance is 28 days so if you get 28 PLUS bank hols they might not let you accure bank hols) so you could tag 7 bank holidays onto the end of your maternity leave and then for April, May and June you will have accured a quarter of your 20 days holidays so you could take an extra 5 days after the bank holidays.
You could even take your whole 20 days allowance for next year at the end of mat leave but it depends if you have a policy on when you should take leave (i.e. no more than 3 weeks at a time) and you'd have nothing left for the rest of the year.

Does that make sense? If not, post me the hours you work, the number of days you work and when your holiday year runs and I'll work it out for you but it will be later or tomorrow cos I'm off home now.
