I have never been so happy to see rain in my life!!!

Leggings - I [STRIKE]live in[/STRIKE] wear non-materinity ones, they fit under my bump lovely but I do need a few more pairs. I also got my bump band from eBay - more for a bit of support than anything else but it's too warm to wear it!

Tia - Oh no! Just to let you know any fruit juice is out now - they are loaded with sugar! I had 2 slices of brown bread with marmite on for breakfast and my BM an hour later was 8.6 (supposed to be less than 7.8) and then an hour after porridge for lunch it was (7.7) - planning to have fajitas for tea so am hoping it doesn't stay high after that!

MW said it's about portion control - I love white rice but that's out the window now and so is cereal. After reading the labes on food I can't believe how much 'healthy' stuff is laden with sugar. You need to look at the Carbohydrates of which are sugars.

My feet are huge and one of the GP's said they looked massive and she was sure that they shouldn't be this big until the last month or so

I'm actually starting to worry now as my sugars are staying high even after eating what I should and the huge feet - am hoping this isn't a sign of anything!

Council came out to deal with the wasps nest but it's above the gutters and they don't do ladders :mad::mad::mad: have rang a private firm who will do it for £12 cheaper and should be able to do it this afternoon or tomorrow. So that is good, haven't been able to open the windows all week so you cna imagine how warm my house has been!!!

Helen - that's not fun. Apart from the blood they took at my first appointment I haven't had to give any more.
Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

This may be a silly question, but as I am intending to breast feed (fingers crossed as it will be cheaper) should I bother to get any sterilisers/bottles etc. or should I just leave it and if I need to bottle feed worry about it then?

Also will I do much expressing. I was going to get a manual pump just in case but if I do that will I need the sterilisers/ bottles etc. why would I be expressing - would it be because I was too lazy and wanted DH to feed baby instead?
Sorry for my stupidity - hopefully by the time bump arrives I will have some idea what is going on :D

well, I've not had my lunch, so I'm away to have an oat topped brown roll with pickle and cheese.

Is sultana bran and fruit and fibre out?

And now moved on from BH to bad period pains.... owch!

Hi Karen, I'm not bothering buying any bottles but that is because I'm planning on constant breast feeding and co-sleeping as recommended in the book 'Three in a bed' which says that if you feed this way you will produce exactly the amount that baby needs. I just hope it works otherwise OH will be sent shopping!
