Right off home now as ice cream is calling. I managed to do a bit of work today, but am finding it really hard to concentrate in the heat.

Karen - it's the same technology and when you watch the scan you see the baby move - it just depends what they put on your CD at the end, pics or a movie. For us the pics were cheaper and we thought we'd look at them more than a vid. Would definitely recommend, it was fun afterwards going back to the pics and comparing them with family photos to try to see the resemblance

Sly buggas, just remembered I had a phonecall on Friday from the deputy manager asking if everything was ok regarding my risk assessment,if anything had changed since I had it done (10weeks ago) I said no,things were fine (I was just about coping then) and he said oh good,ok,just thought Id ring and check before I signed it off again.

Thinking now,bet he knew of these changes that were about to be revealed and knew I would have a problem with it!!!

Yep,that too. Mine came straight off when I got in from work at dinner time :rotfl:free your foofs :rotfl:

Helen - good luck, you don't want to risk yourself or the baby so maybe the best thing to do would be to try to get signed off by your doc. :grouphug:

I sometimes don't realise how lucky I am with my employer.

You can get a scan at quite a reasonable rate now most clinics do a starter pack for around the £80 -£90 mark. Th eone i went to started at £79 for 10 min dvd and 3 black and white pics i plumped for the next one up which was £129 and got a 15 min dvd and 7 printed colour pics plus a cd rom with about 35 pictures you could print off yourself. It is a little pricy for one person but as i say if you can get the family & partner to club together it wouldnt cost to much more than you were all planning on spending :-)

I've just had a quick flick back so I need to say CONGRATULATIONS to EA, Meigle and IHF.

I'm fine, hot but OK, nothing happeneing here yet. Got scan on Thursday and beginning to panic about it but other than that I'm good.

Unless i have to go out i am bottomless most of the time its just to warm to be wearing trousers or jeans around the house.

My mattress still has not got here ive waited in all day you watch it will turn up at 6:55pm cut of for delivery is 7pm

scans are a fair bit more round our way... I didn't find anything under £100 but I don't regret spending it. DH was sceptical but having seen the pics is a convert!
