Xmaslolly - whats the difference between 4d and 3d?

Coxy, I can't really add to that as both Xmaslolly and Tiamai_d both come up with suggestions that I would really appreciated.

Karen, I did have the risk assesment when I first told them I was pregnant and things were changed..I was told not to take linen up or own stairs, not to pull the linen trolleys, no matress turning, no standing on chairs to dust higher up or change a shower curtain, and someone was to help me make beds. So it's not that they haven't done anything to make the job easier.
It's the other jobs I have to do,that are quite safe for me to do so that have become the problem just down to the fact they have to be done so much faster now. Im struggling to go at the pace that they say we must go at to get finished on time.

    Hi Ladies,

Hope you don't mind I've added myself to the list:j

I've been offline for a couple of weeks as I had a heterotopic pregnancy. Basically I was having twins but one was ectopic and I had to have an emergency laparoscapy to remove it a couple of weeks ago. We had a scan on Friday and luckily the other bean is fine :D. The docs have given me progesterone pessaries to use up to 12 weeks so hopefully I'll be hanging around. Apparently it is very rare, 1 in 30,000 pregnancies so all the medical professionals I've seen are very excited by it all!

Hope everyone is having a good day x
omg it has a name! this happened to me in jan/feb i had one twin in the womb and one outside sadly i lost them both a week or so apart. no one has ever given it a name and just said it was one of those things. They did say it was very rare and that they hadn't seen a case in that hospital before. I swear most of my friends think it was impossible and i was making it up, trying to cling onto the thought i was having twins and the one in the womb would survive even a midwife i know told me it can't happen.

Good look and i hope you and the bub stay healthy

Helen - that sort of thing could come under Psychosocial (?) because they put you under stress - I would ask to redo your risk assessment as you job has changed. My health and safety person said we would review it as I got further along because I didn't know how I would be feeling as I got bigger.

Thanks Xmaslolly. I saw Mountainlioness's 3d scan which was really cool so was a bit perplexed about 4d.

  • Good idea for the 4d scan - I loved having mine.

They are quite pricey so maybe put together a little hamper - like tiama says biooil or bump cream, some cooling peppermint foot lotion (would love some of that), maybe a voucher for a facial?
