Elastigirl, my MIL treats our neice very different from the rest of her grand children, though she swears she doesn't! She had 3 boys and uses that as her excuse. It does occasionally get on my goat when she says something or deos something but I've learned that she is the one who will suffer. Neice is getting too old to want to come down and stay you see, granny isn't any fun anymore except to buy her stuff.

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok. I need to ask another question:o

I have the most horrendous pain in my bump i think it is stretching pain / round ligament pain? No bleeding and i feel fine.

It is as bad lying down as it is when i am up and about and comes and goes as it pleases - it dosent feel like anything i have had before - cramps etc.

Does anyone have any good links on this, or any non medicinal things that might help, or any experiences as to how long it lasts? I was thinking of a hot water bottle:confused:

Try a bath and call your mw if worried, is about all we can advise. About 16 weeks I got really bad pain and I thought I was getting SPD again, but it eased off after a few weeks.

What's man in the Mirror? Please tell me it's not Michael Jackson?

I do howl uncontrollably at Athletes, Wires :rotfl:

    Yep! :o:o:o:o

I'm not a big fan but do like his music - the news came on but I already knew about him dying, tbh I wasn't even that bothered. Song came on and all of a sudden I realised I had tears streaming down my face and the more I said to myself 'Pull yourself together' the more I cried.

Someone was whinging on another baby forum about her friend having an epidural and feeling pain during labour, she was so angry as she doesn't want to feel any pain at all. I had to point out that she shouldn't have gotten pregnant then...

I mean come on, nobody wants to be in pain, but it's a bit unrealistic to expect to go through labour completely pain free. Should I point out that after the birth it can be just as bad or let her dream on? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

That is hilarious...I wonder how she thinks they adminster the epidural if she isn't into pain. What a joy that someone like that is reproducing!

I am really dreading going back to work. My back has been sore on my week off, but managable. I don't wanna go back to pain so bad I can't walk .

Can you feel the baby crowning, the "ring of fire"?

I had someone tell me the epidural only numbs the pain of contractions, but they felt everything when the baby comes out, and wouldn't even administer local anesthetic for that area.

This makes me very, very angry. I don't want to feel ANYTHING, least of all that.

Then she has the cheek to say I was being unhelpful by saying that if she didn't want to feel any pain she shouldn't have gotten pregnant...
