SS that's a real shame about your MIL, it's not fair when you've asked her not to do it, and explained why.

As for your neighbour - that's really funny!! Why do some people assume they have the right to have everything their way when quite clearly they have another suitable alternative which would stop another person from having to go miles out of their way?!

MTW - it's gorgeous here!

I had HM curry from the freezer! Only problem I am finding is, when I dish dinner up I normally do 2 heaped serving spoons of whatever it is, curry, bolg, chilli etc. Did this when freezing the food but OH is complaining the portions are a bit small

Sugar - my MIL did this - I was introduce as Glam and baby Jack, told grandparents we were naming baby Jack after FIL's grandad etc etc.
She was the one with egg on her face when I mentioned that actually we hadn't decided yet and name wouldn't be confirmed until after the birth and that I was thinking of Alfie now!

I do still like Jack but with the popularity of it I'm not sure, however everytime I try to think of names the only one I can think of is Jack!!

I am having a nightmare in work with a potential s flu confirmation and a big project that is happening next week which I suddenly found out about yday!

Glam, defrosting and reheating uses some of the water in it so you do have to add a bit more 'for luck'. But then he will probably get used to it soon enough! :rotfl:

SS, at least the piano incident is cheering you up!

Hi Ladies, Feeling crappy today - got a runny nose and headache and feeling achy down below. Is it normal to feel period like aches around my lower back at this stage (23+2)? Can't concentrate on work just willing the hours to pass so I can go home but wondering if I should just go earlier as I could do with more sleep

I would say go home but if it was me I'd work through it cos I don't get sick pay! I've not felt like that but if you are concerned give your community MW a call - they can advise you.

Thanks Tia - I gave him more rice last night but he moaned it wasn't the same
Must remember to add that little bit more in. Oh and I was gutted that my batch cooked chilli with the extra beans and lentils and things tasted nowhere near as nice as my usual chilli :o I might stick with my receipe and just have more sauce with it!

So my hayfever is not too bad today - good times!

But my favourite bra no longer fits me and I keep having to put myself back in it (at work!) - bad times!

If it's tomato based stuff I add in a little pasatta when re heating it, seems to make it taste nice and smooth again.

I'm now addicted to bejewelled

Babycenter seems to imply that lower back paid is nothing to worry about. Might try and get a few jobs done then see how I feel after lunch - I'm only sitting at a desk so not doing anything strenuous. Got my MW appointment on Monday so would prefer to wait until then before bothering anyone unless I start feeling worse of course.

It's my actual mother. She's being a nightmare at the moment, mailing us tons of pink clothing and generally getting overexcited.

The neighbour is notorious for being unpleasant, but I suspect relations may take a nosedive after she saw me laughing about the whole situation.

Why are people introducing your child when he is still clearly not ready to shake hands?!?! People amaze and astound me. It's only maybe 50-70 years ago that nobody would have dreamed of referring to a pregnant woman as being pregnant, it was all "delicate condition" and "your condition" and as soon as the condition became apparent she was expected to hide away in case the evidence that she'd had sex embarrassed people. That's a bit too far, but I'm all on for not going overboard on babies still in utero. They can be introduced when they're out. Not before.

I am having a nightmare in work with a potential s flu confirmation and a big project that is happening next week which I suddenly found out about yday!

    Ugh. Good luck.
