nms - yeah, aweekly reminder would be fantastic!!!hehe. altho, having had a looka t my notes today, i remembered that my date - 3rd aug, is the 2nd date i was given as i couldnt remember my period dates. the 1st date was 22nd july, so that has scared me. need to get my act together and get stuff sorted out!!!!!
I'll try to remember, every mondayWowsers, 22nd July a bit soon. Which date were you given at your scan? I'd go with that one
Chops - can you be selective with the meals you have in the next few days and just make huge vats so you can freeze the excess. That's my plan, so I don't have to spend a whole day cooking.
Way to go Dylan! What a star!
and hugs to Shelvis - hopefully things will start to go your way - Karma must be on your side for an easy, painless birth and the most well behave child in the world after all that0 -
SJ - everyone panics, it normal to do so - at least you seen bean once and you'll soon be at that 12 week mark0

Morning! Headache back with a vengeance today. Luckily I don't have to go anywhere (though DS1 is going to his grans to sleep over for a trip tomorrow, but they will pick him up if I'm still not able to drive). Tesco delivery has been so I don't have to do anything except make food.
DS2 is a nakey boy, he is refusing to get dressed  If you ask him he says his tummy is sore, yet he is at this moment running about playing with a ball.... Me thinks he just wants to be free and aired :rotfl:0 -

I'm 35 weeks and if the occupant doesn't move enough I start tormenting her awake just to be sure everything's ok in there.
The piano is coming in today!!! I'm thrilled. We also think we've found storage for the pinball machines, just need confirmation from the guy who's moving his stuff out that it's ok to move in.
Other than that I've already been to the bank, bought stamps (but not yet posted the card) and aside from bank and card today's list involves editing the paper I have to submit by next Wednesday (stupid editor of the book gave me five days' notice, which is absurd) and putting the baby clothes away again after I washed all the newborn stuff yesterday.
I'm also really annoyed with my mother. She knows the name we chose for the baby because I told her so my grandmother would know before she passed away. And she also knows that it is important to us that the name not be used till the baby's out and breathing and, well, named. And she's completely disregarding our wishes and using it all the time - even to us. I'm so annoyed about it.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

SS, that's why I refuse to 'decide' on a name till they are here. If we even so much as suggest a name we like MIL starts using it. Drives me nuts!!0

I'm absolutely furious, more so because she's so blatantly disregarding something that we've explained more than once is important to us.
The baby will have a name, and we know what that name will be, but until she comes out and is named she doesn't have one.
I'm also annoyed with her because she was talking about a dream she had where we had two kids. Her comment was that [the girl, but she used the name] was a lovely child but the boy was a little !!!!!!. She takes the dreams seriously, and doesn't seem to mind insulting our hypothetical future child.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

The piano is here!!!!!
It's at the top of the first of four flights of stairs, being delayed by a neighbour who thinks she should be able to ask them to move it down so she can get out. They're suggesting she goes up and takes the lift to the ground floor. She's not having any of it. There's no room to get by. It's an impasse and it is the most entertaining thing I will probably see all day.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
