Good luck Fidget - don't bother explaining yourself to anyone, just stare at them and ask why they feel it necessary to ask you to justify your choices.

I'm so annoyed. I wrote a paper which was requested as a book chapter. Fine, except the sheer amount of extra work they require is absurd and I got an email last night asking me to a metric butt ton of extra work by the 30th June. Crazy.

I'm back, just had another MW call in. She lives close by and heard about me being upset yesterday so called in as she was passing. I'm soo lucky! Anyway, she's gonna come to do my sweep tomorrow.

Yay for Tara, although not knowing much about sweeps - are they painful? What are they like? What happens? I really need to learn more stuff.......

SM - sorry I was just looking at the 02 on your sig. In that case she needs an extra special prize.

The MW uses her fingers to stretch the cervix then sweep them round inside where the babies head is seperating the membranes from your cervix. This releases hormones which cause the uterus to contract. Yesterday she could only manage a partial sweep so I've stayed active today (with difficulty) in the hope of thinning the cervix out the last little bit so that she can do a full sweep tomorrow. Can be a little uncomfortable but after childbirth not much bothers me! ;)

    Yay for Jillie!

I think I might go and get an ice cream now. And someone mentioned chocolate raisins earlier in the thread and since then I have been thinking "mmmm chocolate covered raisins.......... " although having been recently off chocolate (it was hell) I am not sure how many I will eat before I feel sick.
