dont forget the suncream! very sensitive skin at mo - still recovering from leg burns this time last week...:male:Alfie Sidney born 29th August 2009:male:0 -
MTW - he's 6. I don't know about the attention seeking because unless I had asked if he was telling fibs I don't think he would have told me. He's always been quite 'sly'. He'll put things in his pocket to take to school that I don't know about. Occasionally he's also sneaked something into his pocket FROM school an brought it home!
Well I need to mop kitchen floor, but am sat with colour on my hair at the minute before hairdresser comes tonight! Then going to my friends at 1 so the floor can wait.
Got my bag packed and ready - well actually I still need to put a going home outfit in, but I'm going to Primark tomorrow so wil hopefully get some leggings and a smock-type top to pack.
Best go and wash the colour off before it ends up a disaster! See you all later.......Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -

I am way off packing my bag, but I imagine I will put in jogging bottoms and a loose t-shirt!
Re bras, I went to the Bravissimo shop in Norwich and I got measured explaining that I was pregnant. They said make sure there is plenty of room in the cup size and that you fit using the tightest hooks rather than the loosest like you normally do to give you a bit of leeway both ways. I bought 3 bras for the interim (although they cost me £60) and I was so relieved to get out my tight uncomfortable ones they were well worth the money.
The only problem with moving to 34H soft cup is they are so granny like - low cut tops are out! Which is why I got two soft cup and one underwired so at least I have the option of that bra if i need to wear a nice outfit
I am wearing my bump band for the first time today. Bit weird plus I am wearing a black top with a black bb and my black top is a bit faded after quite a few washes so they don't quite match lolTegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Hi all,
Had a busy morning scrubbing the kitchen (cooker hob, sink and the door!) - still looks like a complete tip but have to leave it to go to work soon.
Got my letter to give to my boss saying I want my mat leave to start 2nd Aug so the countdown is on!
Had to go into the school this morning to sign forms allowing the school to get additional help and possible diagnosis for DD who will be moving to 3rd year Juniors in Sept. Part of this is to see if she has ASD and to help her social interaction and language. It was weird and a bit horrible hearing the SN teacher confirming all my worries about her (behaviour, learning difficulties etc). Nothing I didn't already know really but still hearing it from the school's point of view was a bit upsetting.
It seems in work that whenever people (mainly women) ask when I'm going on ML they react quite scathingly when I tell them as if I'm some kind of wimp. It's really getting on my nerves!!! I'm sick of "REALLY?? But you're not due for ages" and "why? I would've thought you'd have left it much later than that" and the worse one is just "why?" as if I must offer some kind of justification to them. This is usually the people who have no children. I wait all day on my own to go to work then when I come home I'm shattered and just sleep. I barely see my little girl and after being at the school this morning I'm even more convinced I'm doing the right thing.
MM - Dylan is gorgeous I bet it was fantastic to have a cuddle at last, thanks for sharing the pictures! Making me let myself get a little bit excited for my own now!
Btw, have been reading the birth stories thread and scaring the bejaysus out of myself. It's really brought home the reality of having to go through it again! Plus to all those who have had bad experiences and are awaiting another LO - lucky birth vibes to you all and hope they're all as quick and painless as possible!

Hi Figet, You have to do what's right for you and no one else. From the sounds of it you will be wanting to spend some quality time with your DD before the baby comes.
I am working till end Sept and taking October off as leave (because we have to take our leave before our ML and our new leave year starts in October) but because I feel sorry for the people I work with and whoever takes over my job I have also said if I am feeling up to it I will come in one day a week.
I have to say I would be happy to start earlier.Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

I am trying to think of fun indoorsy type things you could do with a 7 year old. But not having any experience I am afraid I have nothing! Unless she likes shopping?Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)
