    I think this is just the tme of year when everything costs loads so attention turns to the new year. Quite a few of us seem to be in similar boat TBH.

    I'm lookng forward to starting again in 2011. I also plan on keeping a much closer eye on how much is spent and on what - I started that this year but then ahd a big operation and didn't keep it up. (and I need to train my husband!)

    Its not even december and we are all thinking new year, new start. Try and keep on top of things an record things properly.

    I have been really laid back on presents this year when I normally have them ALL done by September/October! So its a bit stressful not being that organised. Will definitely be raiding the january sales! :) O my word thinking about next xmas before this one is sorted!

    I'm afraid I buy pressies all year round, and have a stash that runs into next year. Too big a family to buy for to do it at Christmas. I haunt the bargain deals and charity shops

  • Good luck with the kitchen - little boys and rotten weather combined with building work is enough to turn anybody to alcohol!:j
    Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
    Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
