Hi Michelle,I hope you don't mind me popping in to ask a cheeky question. I was trying to register for some freebies today and i saw chance to sign up for a neilson scanner, so i've put down my details and they will get back to me if I'm suitable. I was wondering if you have to scan every single thing you buy or just your weekly shop, and how much they tend to pay, theres not too many details on the site, thanks, newgirly.
    Hi Newgirly,

I do Nielson and recommend them. You scan everything with a barcode, all your weekly shopping, top up shopping and odd bits. You have a book of codes so that if you got market fruit and veg you can still enter it into the scanner.

You earn reward points for every week you scan, you save them and then spend them from the reward catalogue.

They do regular prize draws for panel members too.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hello,

At least you have the two majour works done - if the pasta sauce on the walls annoys you (Personally, I think it is a conversation piece..) then you can just paint the walls cheaply as a stopgap. Must be great to have the kitchen well onits way.

How lovely, truly special moments when your children do something for the first time - you never forget it.

I really liked Angels and Demons, as always the book is always better but still an excellent film - enjoy!

Thanks Katsu and Michelle, I signed up online for a scanner and actually got a phone call on Friday night to ask some more details, so it looks like I might be accepted. It was a close call though as I get so many calls selling stuff or asking questions I automatically say no thanks and hang up, luckily I was on the ball for once.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Just wanted to thank you for your thread Michelle, you were the main inspiration for me starting my own but when first started wasn't good at finding names etc and quoting so a belated thank you is better than nothing.
Good luck on your MF journey until I read your thread I thought it was quite impossible with children!
We don't have any yet but it is our plan for the next couple of years, have a good day

I though tit looked like a good choice. OH says that we should wait a bit because he had a right look around the rear garden and there is alot of shrubs/bushes to the rear that if thinned away would give alot more space. Current owners have adult children and one teenager so it looks like they opted for shrubs and a bit of grass, nothing with a bit of structure though more just lots there. so he wants to remover the lot and then review with a view to having an area with bark chips up the top and an activity frame on that. Really I suspect it is because his friend works for a plant hire company and he wants to play with mini diggers but I can see his point about dealing with the bushes first. He says most have either thorns or cherry red berries and he is worried about the kids playing up there and would rather get it sorted so we could just let them out into the enclosed garden space knowing they couldn't do much and then continue with housework rather than needing to give total supervision.
