Trouble is he is very like me and we don't tend to value what we do enough. I will get chatting to him. Trouble is that he is in such a small company he doesn't want to affect the company and end up without a job. Don't want to be too greedy to our detriment. I'll get looking at it.
Please remember that pensions are very tax efficient - as your paying gross and before tax you will never better that deal by any other savings !!RosieTiger - Highest £242,000 Feb 2004

Weeks for a kitchen EEEEKKKK but at least it will be done for christmas. Pensions very important try look at it in 2011 if you can, very tax efficient and any payments you make to a scheme can be deducted from earnings for tax credit purposes if you claim those
not to mention if OH is close the the HR limit that would mean the removal of child benefit you may find a pension pays for itself.
MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
your kitchen will be lovely when it's done and it's best having a quality builder take his time rather than a bodgett builder rush it.
I've no advice on pensions as I don't have one and it's too late now to start for us0 -

Can you do that? If so its very cunning. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Unless they block you before hand yes. Pension payments are gross so if say you or your OH is over the HR limit by 1k. You could fling 1100 into the pension pot, lose about £600 net wages (£50 a month) yet keep about 2.5k child benefit if you have 3 kidsMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
