i'm toying with a new thread too. current one is all about my mortgage and OH's debt and my plans to pay down as much as possible to move. Now moving is a reality and I have a MF target of December 2020 I guess I should start a new and focused thread. I plucked a financial target of £2011 in 2011 as a mix of vouchers, survey cash and cashback.

If you do start new threads put links on your current ones so I don't miss them! :)

I think it's brilliant we are getting so focused for next year. I don't think many of our outgoings will change during 2011 (baby depending) but I do get an incremental payrise in April so that should help!

I think a 'money neutral christmas' is a fab idea. I haven't budgeted at all for it this year and now wonder I have about £50 to last us 2 weeks! None on CC tho and paid out £150 for DH present and he treated himself to COD black ops out of joint account (will be knocking that of next months spends for him!!!) I am so mean! ;)

Do you do BingoPort Michelle, Pam introduced me to it and I think it's a fab way of accruing vouchers to use for presents.

Looking forward to some more kichen pics and don't worry -the washing machine will sell :)

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • How gross! Get them tucked up as soon as possible and enjoy your evening.... We are having the Tesco 'Takeaway' Indian in a box. A wild start to the weekend!

    Have fun,

Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
