Glad you had a lovely break Michelle and glad to see you back :) It does you good to recharge your batteries without the children about.

Even if the In-laws have been good enough to have your boys whilst you were away, I too would be annoyed about them throwing some breadcrumbs and metal away. What a cheek ! It would wind me up for days that would! (but maybe that's just me :o )

No-one will ever be good enough for their son, but I bet they would sooner have you as you are than a spendthrift who has run tens of thousands of pounds worth of debt. Secretly they will be proud of your thriftyness :D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    ...... AND RELAX :j:j
  • Hi cha

Poor you with the inlaws, do they know how much your hubby earns and how fantastic you are to stretch things, not only to pay the basics but to over pay?? It would be so much if it were your parents. I remeber when we were planning our wedding, both the mothers got carried away, however I told my mum to butt out (but alot more politely you inderstand;)) whereas I did not feel it was my place to tell the MIL.

Ha on the rare occasions I stay in a hotel I do that too - suspect lots of folk do. I try to be suruptitious [sp] and put croissants and bananas in my bag for later too :rotfl::rotfl:

I always take changing bag (read large rucksack, emptied of all bar 1 nappy and pack of wipes and a bib) - muffins, fruit, etc ALWAYS go in (for eating later) - as does the odd mini pack of cereal, mini jar of marmalade etc (for going home) :D Was gutted when I went away with best friend for pampering weekend for our birthdays and didn't have the bag to do this!!:rotfl::rotfl:
