There's nothing worse than a bunch of women. I can never work them out. One of the worst times of my life was standing at the school gates and being given dirty looks as I wouldn't join in on the gossiping. I was glad to return to work ! You're right it isnt your problem . Your better than that

Thanks for the heads up on Clarks having a outlet shop. I didn't think of that - we want to get DD's first shoes soon (after she starts walking that is!)

I don't look at it that they think they're better than you, I think it's because they KNOW you're better than them. It scares them. That's the way I look at it anyway...plus would you want to be part of a gang that wear matching boots!!??

Turns me cold too. I like to look more womanly in classy dresses than trendy.

I don't have any girl friends any more only one best friend AKA my OH and I prefer it that way. Im more than happy in my own family life, Im the happiest Ive ever been. Who needs RL friends anyway!

The fashion among our school gate mums is dumping perfectly good husbands so they can break up someone else's marriage and traumatise their kids. Nice fashion.

Think you may have been a bit worried about the shoes & sizing? I used to fit Clarks shoes - the size is only a guide & it's common to go up a size and down a width fitting to get a good fit. Hope he looks after them :rotfl:
