The banana bread is a recipe for my bread maker, so i will try my best but it uses a cup measurement which isn't an american cup size (8fl oz). I've heard that you can just use a cup as long as you use the same cup for each measurement.
Thank you for sharing! :T And knowing I can do the banana bread in the breadmaker is a definite plus as far as I am concerned (I LOVE my breadmaker). I have also lost count of the number of old bananas I chuck out - once they're too ripe I can't eat them, but throwing out any food goes against the grain as far as I'm concerned..

Hiya! :hello:
Haven't caught up on your diary for a little while. You're doing so well. You've spurred me on (yet again!), to be more aware of day to day expenditure. You're so good at saving the money, but then sctually putting it towards the mortgage - which is the whole point!! I'll be good for a bit, but I'm not sure all of the money really makes it to the overpayment pot!:rotfl:
Well I'm off for my morning :coffee: and I'll catch up a little more.
You're brill. :T

Hi Michelle,
Just wanted to say I have read through all of this and found it really inspiring. Will give the chicken/chickpea/chorizo a try too.
Congrats on SAHM.

Well done on surviving your first day
I'm on my last couple of days off with DD before she starts big girl school *sob* (me, not her, lol).
Have just sold a book on Amaz*n, so am getting back into the swing of things after our holiday.0 -
Wow! That's amazing, well done you. I think savings sound like a good idea, just a bit of backup and if you don't spend them in the next say 3 months, THEN they can go in0

It's hard to keep track sometimes, but you're doing well and the fact that you can come back and refocus is great. Well done!0

Wow, hope the discount supermarket sets up a national chain! Hope the computer arrives nice and early so that you can have lots of fun setting it up and getting more of a MSE fix
DD also has a few magazines to work through - luckily she knows she only gets them for holidays as a treat, but my mum and dad occasionally buy them - you take off the toy/crayons, do a couple of pages and then it gets tossed aside for something else, doesn't it...bless them, lol.0
