Sounds like you're on a roll for this weekend...!
Pleased that the book finally showed up at last! It's a big decision whether or not to return to work - I'm sure you'll make the right choice for the whole family. Have a lovely weekend.0 -

Hi Michelle,
I've just read your thread, and wanted to say what a great job you are doing at o'paying. I'm very impressed at how far you can strech a turkey leg!
Keep up the hard work and especially please keep on posting- you've inspired me!Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0 -

I do get slightly jealous when I read other people making OPs as and when, usualy those on daily or monthly interest rates. We're on annual so I have to wait a whole year before I get a hit... you know that OP rush!
Well done on progress.
Just one quick question (may have missed the point as I haven't read your whole thread yet). Why did you transfer cash from ISA to current account? Is it going somewhere else or into another ISA? If into another ISA would have been best to transfer direct or you miss out on annual ISA allowance.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Hi Michelle, just came across your diary, wow, what an inspiration! I "know" you from the 4k a year challenge and not doing too well....but have decided that I want to start paying down my mortgage too and have set myself up a diary in the hope that it won't be a challenge that I start and then give up too easily....hmm...
I think your decision to give up work sounds very sensible, to go back and be so sick after 6 weeks means something has got to give. Your health and happiness are more important that working - if hubby can cover the bills on his salary, then I'd say make the most of being with the children, learning from each other and being Mrs OS0 -
Eeek! I know those types of shopping trips, you make a short list that soon ends up taking up an exercise book, lol. The den sounds lovely. We've got rain at the moment, so I'm hoping that tomorrow will be better, as we're chilling out til about 4pm then off up to see relatives. I really want to chill out on the hammock, and do nothing!0
