    Hi Michelle

Just popping in to wish you all the luck in the world in your quest. It sounds like you have a wonderful little family and would be a fabulous SAHM mum. Remember, any decision is yours and yours alone, provided you make a decision for the right reason, things always come good in the end xx

    Hi Michelle.

Just a quick question, is there a reason why you pay your tv license as one payment rather than monthly?

Wow Michelle, what a lot has been going on with you!

Congratulations on making the decision to be a SAHM, I'm sure you're not going to regret it, and with the massive OPs you've made, sounds like you'll be a happier, more chilled out mumma, the kids will be happy, DH will too and the mortgage and bills will be taken care of nicely :) Good result all round, I'm so pleased for you!

I'm making tiny OPs on my mortgage, have paid nearly £200 this month, my first of being a MFW - am very naughty though, as yesterday I booked DD and I on our first holiday alone together just before she starts school in mid-September, and I really wanted some guaranteed sunshine, so Portugal here we come!! :):):) (ok, not for another fortnight, but it's a good incentive to not slip off the diet waggon)

Hi Michelle, just came across your diary, wow, what an inspiration! I "know" you from the 4k a year challenge

Hello - I have been searching for this thread and couldn't find it - can someone advise me where it's located? Thanks, QB

Well done Michelle, I'm so pleased your boss was kind and understanding, whenever I've handed my notice in at a job for any reason, I've always been panicky and stressed about it, so I can only imagine what was going through your mind. What a relief to finally have the conversation over!

I think the first thing to do is to look into preschool - they get booked up v.v.v. quickly (or at least they do around here, I'm in the wrong job!)
  • glad things have gone well handing in your notice, its a big weight off your shoulders now.

  • Hi michelle, I am also watching economy gastronomy and cant wait for it to be on tonight! Great idea about the hair cut- dont think i could try it though as i have a short layered bob- think i would look like i had a fight with the lawnmower lol. Glad your still plugging away at the mortgage. I am due to go back to work in seven weeks ( on maternity leave) and have to say i am dreading it. Dont know how i will cope.

  • Last night i made a big batch of chicken, chorizo and chickpea stew for DH's birthday dinner. There were 6 portions left for the freezer. The chickpeas really helped spread the meat as the chicken or chorizo on their own would have been one meal each.

Got to go and make a banana cake as we have over ripe bananas

Hello, both of these recipes sound really tasty... would you have time to share them?

    Enjoying the diary!
