I was going to try and bag one or two to make the trip a bit more neutral as we have to get lunch out anyway, but the reports have to be done by midnight and we will be at the wedding all day.
Oh well. At least i know it might be possible to make future trips to london a bit more cash neutral. Thinking about it i would be very stressed doing the job and trying to get to a wedding on time. Crazy Michelle.
Could you not write up the report when the kids need an afternoon nap or even after lunch, stressful but if you have a laptop you could find a place with free wireless to write up the report. I would be tempted to leave the wedding for half and hour, and there's usually an hour or two between the main meal and the evening buffetMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

I think Mf by the time your 40 sounds like a good target, but as i'm on the wrong side of 30 I would say that as it's my goal also!
Thr mystery shopping reports do get easier..promise, and RE have the worst ones, so others will be a doddle.
Keep up the good work xx

grateful you are right. Lots of hugs and kisses from them this afternoon, and a sneaky tea and biscuits while they had half hour nap which is a rarity.
Valli unfortunately the tax credits are right. I noticed on littlebits SOA that she earned more per month and got more, but then again she also pays childcare fees.
greent ouch to that dentist bill. You sound like us. Not rich enough to get by as you want but too rich when it comes to stuff like that so you end up paying for it. That is a big diversion. I don't know how they can justify charging you when it is for a child.
I spent all afternoon running free games of Bingo with the fiver they gave me. Won a few little prizes and my balance is still £5. Thought i would give up for the day while i was not behind. I am hoping to get the balance a bit higher and then i can withdraw it. The afternoon seems to be good on the game i play as there were only 3-5 people playing most games so quite a good chance of winning the £1 prize for a 30p outlay. The kids were happy pottering outside while i did this. Computer is downstairs next to the patio doors, so i could watch what they were up to, and clean up after lunch. Excellent multi tasking from me.
Michelle, the reason we get more is because DS2 is still under 1. They will go down by half from November when he turns 1Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
Don't worry Michelle, I've done the swallowing up thing too. The way I see it is they get so much bought for them and are never without clothes/toys/trips etc so it's still being spent on them really. Plus they always get it back.
Oh and Happy Birthday to your DSMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
I completely agree, the money will always get spent on the children anyway, and you do so much with them and for them with money anyway.
