Hope you have a better day today.
Which survey sites are you using? I also use OnePoll, although it doesn't pay very much per survey they're really shortMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
Hi Cha
I know it's no consolation when you've had a bad day with your kids, and I don't have experience of that. But, I used to have a large doberman, which regularly had tummy upsets, but never quite got the knack of 'telling' us (our small dog used to run to us, back to the door, and you could literally tell she was crossing her paws!); if you've ever tried to get the equivelant of a very smelly cow-pat off your carpet you'll get the picture! It was (yeeuk - retch -scrape - pass the newspaper - retch - bad dog!!)
A small consolation is that at least your kids will be able to talk to you and let you know when they need to go...:(
Poor old thing's gone now, and for some strange reason the OH is not keen on getting more:ANow MF (thanks in part to following advice from MSE - cheers!)

Hi Michelle,
Just thought I'd pop in to say Hi  and to say how much I enjoy reading your thread. It's really nice to be able to follow your journey and seeing what ideas you come up with for saving even more money.:j
You really keep me motivated to find the extra money myself each month. Like yours it's just £'s here and there but it really does mount up.
Anyway enough from me - just thought I'd drop a line to show my appreciation

random question on a mortgage thread but .... what do your young lads wear on their bums? :rotfl::eek:
As in, I'm doing reusable nappy research and thought you might be a good person to ask. With my DS I just used terry toweling with those delightful plastic pants that make deep cuts in their legs but things have moved on since then and it'd be nice if I could get some that wouldn't maim.
Quite a few companies seem to do a trail offer, around £10 for a single nappy but I'd need a baby to try them out on! So, just wondered what you used and whether you had any thoughts :AUpdating soon...0 -
Hi Cha, thanks for waking me up to see that having a baby in August is not going to be all perfect and smelling of roses!! Hope you are having a better day.
Courgette, don't know what they are like as going to be 1st time mum in august, but I filled out the survey on http://www.kittykins.co.uk and went witht he one they recommended for me. Got them off ebay and they look fine - i'll let you know how I get on, but you'll be sorted by then?15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Michelle- I seem to spend more time reading diaries than being proactive - these threads are addictive!
Courgette I use Bambino Mio - which I love. I used pampers (they are the best)on my other 4 children and now that I have these I wouldn't go back. We'll have 2 babies in them when October comes - all that washing!
Your welcome to pm me if you want any more comments etc.
The frugal thread is : FRUGAL LIVING CHALLENGE 2010 sorry not sure how to do links.0 -
Thanks Suzy, my friend recommended Mio too, reckon they'll be my first point of call for major investigation
How is it after 2 o'clock already!!! :eek::eek::eek:Updating soon...0 -
Dependant on the weather in June/July would it be possible to use a paddling pool to bath the kids in.
But hooray for new bathrooms, I would try and do a lot of the work yourself to reduce the cost, removing tiles it easy but a bit dusty
We took out the airing cupboard out in my BF house when he had the bathroom done, it left a hole in the floor for a while, but you could shout down and ask for a cuppa whilst on the toilet. I did refuse to have it passed up to me though when it was madeMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
