    You know, when my bank cards got stolen the bank managed to keep me going with cash, etc. quite happily for the week or so it took to get the new cards. Perhaps the OP should have investigated that here too?

    Either way, the thread's been flogged to death. General concensus is that legal action is a waste of time and rather misguided.
