Has anyone done any of the ESA car showroom jobs yet? I was finding it really hard getting any information from the salesmen on the certificate that we are enquiring about. Most of the time it was as if they had never seen one before, despite it being in all the cars.

The last one was simple though, they didn't have any new cars in the brand that I was looking for in stock. Hope I still get paid, but it didn't take long so won't be a major disaster if not.

GR are a very good company to work for. as for the postcodes I have five set. one is back home at my mums - i have added another one in same town to see if there is a difference. I think it is unlikely though as from that address i get offered another town as well that is over 12 miles away.

I've done these today and one of the questions refers to the staff member referring to the certificate. I cannot say anymore but there is an option for what you are stating. My worry was that the write up only took a few minutes! I panicked and thought I must have gone wrong somewhere (used to RE's pointless million questions!). I rang to check I was doing everything right and the lady was lovely. All ok! Phew!

  • You know the timeframes that all the companies give you? When they say you have to carry out the assessment in the time bracket 12.01 - 14.00, does that mean you have to arrive and leave within that time bracket? Or does it mean that you have to start it during that time?

Because I just did a bank job (sounds like a heist!) where the time of visit was "lunchtime" 12 - 4pm. I entered the branch at 13:50 and left at 14:44. Do you think I did it wrong?

The company that ask you to pick morning, lunch or afternoon as a time scale usually don't seem to mind as long as you do it on the right day. If they want you to go (or not go) at a specified time then that will be mentioned in the brief. So I think you should be fine with the timings that you did. I've done a 'morning' bank one from 12.00 - 12.10 and it was paid fine.

Thank you for that! I didn;t expect to get there so late and I certainly didn't expect to have to wait for half an hour before I got to speak to anyone!

I can still see some extended period health club jobs on RE if anyone wants to get in shape during the next 6 weeks!

The ones I can see are just a bit too far from me to have a 6 weeks membership but seems like a good deal if you can get one near you!!!
