I feel a bit bad for them sometimes, I mean head office do sometimes come up with some ridiculous things for their staff to say and do. I hope they still get their bonus. There were a couple of things not done quite right, does anyone know how strict they are... if indeed the bonus is dependent on our reports???
Wouldnt worry about being "sussed". Sometimes it does happen, but 9/10 you will find that the manager just picked up on the fact that not all questions were asked, and was therefore just offering you a great service. I had the same in a travel agents, the manager came over and started rambling on about the agent's credit card facility and how good they are, what deals they do, etc, really went the extra mile. Its just them trying to provide a good service, as if you do the MS well, you will never be spotted!
All jobs I have had in the past have had bonuses that are performance related. Mystery shops is one way of guaging the performance, the head office will use other ways too, such as customer feedback forms, customers using direct methods of contact. i.e writing a praise letter (which does happen) and also when the head office do their own audits/inspections0 -
Hi there,
I'm new to the forum and to mystery shopping! I signed up with gapbusters the other day, and have a couple of assignments set up to do next week. I applied for another assignment with a company I had completed the training for, and was asked again to fill in the eligibility questionnaire. I must have misclicked on one of my answers, because it then told me I was not suitable to work for that client, and I now can't get access to any of their jobs. I emailed Gap yesterday to explain the mistake and asked for the client to be reinstated on my search list, but I've not heard anything back from them. Has this happened to anyone before, and how quickly, if at all, did it get sorted out?0 -

It's happened to a few of us, and I think the general consensus is you'll never see those jobs againI misclicked the stamps about 6 months ago and haven't been able to see them since - they did say they'd reset the questions for me, but they never did. And then I failed the pizza test last week by trying to do it in a rush before going to work (1 answer wrong out of 30!) and now can't see them either - emailed to ask if I could do it again, and the answer was no. Boooooo!
Saying that though, I'm sure someone on here said they'd been barred from the chicken jobs and GAP reset the questions for them, so maybe it just depends on who picks up your email and how much of a good mood they're in! It's worth emailing them to ask, just in case. Don't phone them though, it's a sackable offence apparently with GAP!
Welcome to the forum and MS'ing by the way - it's loads of fun!

Somebody said once that they periodically reset the questionnaires automatically, and you'll get a second chance then... don't know how true that is though.Dan

Dont think it is, mine has never been reset.
I deliberately failed the chicken ones as I was getting fed up with getting the constant email alerts about them, that was ages ago and I have never been able to see them since0 -
thanks for the replies, I'll see if they get back to me, and if not I'll try contacting them again. It's a bit of a pain as it was the only job coming up that's really local to me!0

I have a query regarding GR. Since I read on here that you can add postcodes I went onto mine to do just that. I currently have a bank job open as I am waiting for a phone call and it won't let me go anywhere other than my results page. Any thoughts?
Just bumping this for a response!0 -

Not sure.... never had this before
Have you entered the code from the briefing sheet to enter your results?
I would log out and log back in again to see if it fixes it0 -
